After years of collecting G4's, I can truly say that quality has gone downhill hard. Like, hard hard. Like if a boulder hit a concrete floor hard. My main complain with them though (besides the newer molds) is the head and hair quality. The body plastic hasn't really changed much, but the head plastic quality used to be so nice, matte, and DIDN'T feel cheap. The hair quality was at it's prime back in 2010-2013 but now hasbro has decided to be cheap (especially with the tails (they get super frizzy)) Basically, it's normal to expect bad quality from hasbro nowadays, and it's quite a shame! also I don't know if i can link other things here, but I made a video about "How To Fix Frizzy Pony Hair" (link- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IjiLO7LYjGY )Thanks!

Canon is always good to film with! (I am dreaming of getting a Canon t6i one day, but they're too expensive!) I currently use Canon sx520 and it's pretty cheap, and a great alternative (but it doesn't have a hot-shoe so no mic or microphone attachment!)
For a basic, free easy editor, use Windows Live Movie Maker! It's what I have been using for quite a long time now, and even though it's not the most advanced editor out there, it's great as a cheap alternative and edits really well, just doesn't contain some other features 'fancy' editors would usually contain.

I honestly don't know why hasbro couldn't have released these brushables in the older mold. I dunno, they're still cool but the older mold would have been better *cries*

You probably did this when you tried the flat iron method, but you're suppose to apply lotion (un scented, but I use scented that you can wash right off), and flat iron with the lotion on so it doesn't fry or melt or dry the hair. I've done this on older g4's, and works like wonders, which is most likely different hair quality/ brand, but hey I tried! Before I start, I just wanted to say that I have NO idea if i'm putting this introduction in the correct place so WOOP Anyways, I joined this website, because I love My Little Pony. I most of all, like G4, and I also realized that I can try and buy some here from these amazing members! I am actually 15, so I still have to wait a little while until I can actually buy/ trade anything on here, but hey, at least I can show off my nifty collection, and my latest gets! Talking about collections, I actually have a youtube channel (same name as this name) and I have made a couple of collection videos.
