I think that the batteries are in the front circular part - there should be a screw on the bottom (where south would be) you need a cross screwdriver but try a couple different ones as it was an awkward size for ours.
Good shout on getting the batteries out - I got one for free at a market and it was covered with battery acid, leeching out of the cover and all over the train! It’s complete with a headless rubber pony on the front and plenty of chew marks to add to the horror!

Here’s my entry: As Rainribbon loves the idea of flying, her parents have arranged for her to have a hot air balloon ride as a celebration! Such adorable contestants! And sweet pictures for this round so far too! Rainribbon has always dreamed of being a vet when she’s older! She pestered her sister for her collection of (rather expressive) rabbits to be her patients. Ahh I love g2s! I think I have the least of them, although they may have overtaken the 3.5s now! Here’s precious, my favourite g2. The runners up are princess crystal and magic butterfly (blue with dragon and purple hair). I would love to get jazzy as my name’s jasmine xD ditto for the g1 jazzie! Yes, she has two bases, a spinning one and a battery operated one  I made a short video showing what they do https://youtu.be/zREyq9UV9xk and please note I have two glitter glide bases, I’m not sure if I have loop de la’s big base (should be pink on top like the mib picture), but they all do the same thing! If you get the bases and find that they’re not lighting up, try pushing the back of the foot that goes in the base right down, it needs to be below the level of the groove else it has trouble working! This thread was a good reminder to check mine, one had only one battery with some rather corroded contacts in the other space, thankfully I got it cleared up and batteries replaced! I’m guessing they have wires running from their shoe to their crown, wouldn’t want to rehair these two!

I’m in Swindon (south west) but for both of these two I’ve travelled an hour and a half or so (Hounslow for Sundance and Addlestone for Amethyst), these two are only half an hour away (ish) from each other too so I’d say there’s certainly hot spots! The g1s I find locally are usually posey or Lickety split! Oh and baby Applejack? I got my fourth of her and confetti in this lot! Baby lollipop was also in this lot, I paid £35, I’m so pleased!

Hi everyone! I completely forgot to post that this ribbon was also in the lot. It is very cloth like, and wider than usual, apologies if I’m wrong but I believe this has something to do with Megan and/or sundance, so it could be her original ribbon! There were no other g1s or ribbons in the lot Ribbon visitors can't see pics , please register or loginPlus, this Saturday just gone, I picked up another marketplace lot and got this beauty! Sundance seems very happy to meet another princess just like her! I’ll be bringing both these lovelies to U.K. ponycon, so if you’d like to meet them and or take a picture of them, give me a shout! Tootsie was searching for lollipops when she discovered a 4-leaf clover. "Hold me up to the sun and make a wish," the clover urged. "I wish for my own pollipop latch - I mean lollipop patch," Tootsie laughed, correcting her silly words. The clover flew into the meadow, followed by beams of sunlight singing a sweet melody. Each time they sang a verse, a new flavor of lollipops popped up. "When you accidentally say a silly sentence, lollipops will grow in your garden. Your sweet tooth will remind you to pick them," the clover explained. Tootsie could hardly wait to tell her friends about her wish come true.

A few months earlier, Tootsie had grown up surrounded by trees, but she hadn't liked them at all. The one that got in her way the most was another lollipop-plant, which she had loved. Yet for some reason, it grew all over the place, just like the clover! She tried every time but could find no way to coax its attention. Tootsie's life was a struggle.
