I really like my sets. I haven't taken them out yet, but it's nice to have gotten ponies that are similar enough to the original G1s. I wished they would have kept the original eyes though. I don't mind any of the other changes - I actually like the new colors better as I'm attracted to brighter colors. The rainbow sets are harder to come by. I picked up another one set of the original 3 for my niece off eBay so she can have a piece of the wonderful memories I did. Now if only I had a daughter to give ponies to! My 2 year old is such a boy, he has absolutely no interest in anything much but cars, trains, and monster trucks. I guess I should be happy or else he'd ask me to open all my sets!

Hi there! Not yet. My Gusty was a SS, but those are harder to come by since I prefer more mint condition ponies. I am waiting for a couple auctions for a regular gusty, checking the classifieds and stalking the for sale sub-forum. I hadn't realized how popular she was until now! My sets have just arrived so I will be going home anytime to see the anniversary ponies. I have had some g1 ponies arrive recently (swoon!  ) so I can compare the quality to these reissued ponies.

Great replies everyone, I appreciate it! I have three ponies arrive and they were all in such good clean condition (I like mintier ponies), so I just pulled them out and didn't even wipe them. I will probably get to wiping them down one of these days.
