I couldn't believe it with the Lite Brite! The guy had a bunch of other pages in the lot, but I only cared about the MLP ones, haha, so I have no idea what I'll do with the rest. I'm sure someone collects that, though.

This is great! Thanks for sharing; I was a little nervous about the inevitable task of cleaning my DnWs once I get to pony spa time eventually, haha. I'll probably use a pipe cleaner or a straw cleaner from my bottle brush set, though, instead of stringing a needle.  :blush:

I downloaded a few apps, actually - most of them, people cross-post the same items, but occasionally you'll come across stuff that's only on one or the other. I basically just went in the app store and downloaded every secondhand sales app I saw that looked alright and I check them at least once a week.  ^.^

You'll want to have an image host for your photos - I use flickr, which makes it really easy. I'm sure other hosts have a similar sharing setup, though - I just select the bbcode option, which gives you a URL with the correct format for the forums.  ^.^

haha the photobombing Mimic was my first Mimic - the one from the lot is the third one to cross my path now. The second I sent to live with my SIL and the one from this lot went to live with a friend of mine.  :blush:

Secondhand sales apps are how I find most of my additions these days since I don't have as much time to go hunting in person lately - most of the time it's just random G4 or McDonald's, but occasionally there are a couple G1 mixed into a lot or someone's childhood lot will pop up.  ^.^

I couldn't believe my insane luck on this one! I never thought I'd get the Paradise Estate, just because I'd only ever seen it for sale online/not local, and the shipping is always pretty daunting.

Another absolutely insane stroke of luck was scoring the lavender Dream Castle on a secondhand sales app for only $10!! Even my kitties appreciated that deal...

I have been dying for months to show this to everyone here! I never EVER thought I'd have the lavender Dream Castle. It's just proof that you shouldn't give up hope of finding G1 stuff - even the more rare items - in the wild! I love all these pieces that much more because I didn't just find them on eBay or in the Trading Post. Of course it's still great finding these things online when you can justify the cost, but it feels so much more special to me to find them this way. :good:

So it's been quite a while since I've been on here properly - my desktop computer hasn't worked in absolute ages, and I can't afford a new computer just yet. I've moved in with my boyfriend, though, and can use his laptop for now, lol.

Anyway, it's been a busy year - I couldn't believe the last time I posted anything new to my collection was before Christmas of 2016!  :blink: :yikes:  Needless to say, even though I've been mostly away from the forum since then, I wasn't really on a hiatus from collecting, so I have a lot I want to share with you guys! I've posted on my Instagram, but not here yet, and it's just not the same since most of my friends aren't pony people haha, so they don't really understand some of the amazing luck. 

Anyway, so I'll start with what I bought myself for Christmas in 2016 lol. I snagged it as a BIN on eBay, almost complete, and the lace is in such lovely condition.
