She's new to me and I really like her; the donkey pose is just too precious.

The thing that made me smile today was impromptu pony luck! I found a beautiful notebook and matching pencil case in Home Bargains; they're both blush pink and gold, with Fizzy on the notebook and an array of ponies on the pencil case. I'm coming towards the end of my current notebook after a load of ideas came up out of nowhere, so it's turned out to be pretty good timing!

She's new to me and she's very nice. She kinda looks like Starbeam's wintry cousin!

Museum by Shima33, the whole album on a loop. It's very calming - heck, I just want to live in that album. :relaxed:

Ooh, that's a tough choice! I voted for Yum Yum because her simple design appeals to me and she is in such a nice pose, but I love Night Glider, Bonnie Bonnets and Merriweather too.

I'll pass. They're both cute, but I wouldn't actively seek them out.

At the start of the year, I didn't have any pony plans but with everything that's happened, I ended up getting to about May and felt like "Ponies! Now!" It has been a pretty good year for my herd, as I got some grails and some lovely ponies who hadn't previously been on my radar.
Heart Throb and Flower Bouquet were the main event, as I'd wanted those two for ages. They look really cute on display together so the story in my herd is that they're sweethearts now.
I also got a bundle of G3s, starting with Sweet Song in the walking pose and Daisy Paisley, both of whom I'm very excited to have found!
After that, I got Lulabelle, which was a love at first sight thing. The one I got was a bit grubby when she arrived but she's cleaned up beautifully.
Then I got Fluttershy, Meadowbrook and Starbeam, and am quite satisfied with my array of G3s for now.

For 2021, I'm hoping to get some G2s, particularly Eve as she's one of my favourites but I always get outbid when she turns up on evilbay. Copper Glow and her sisters are high up on my want list too, they're absolutely stunning! And of course, there is always room in my heart for G1s, most likely Sunbeam next, as I've been keen on her for a while.

Quiche. I absolutely cannot stomach quiche; every time I've had it, it's made me ill. Raw tomatoes put me off as well because of the fleshy texture, but I enjoy a lot of things involving tomatoes, such as soups, sauces and pizza. Oh, and grapes as well. Raisins, I can go for with gusto but grapes are the stuff of nightmares!

I can't concentrate on or enjoy doing anything this evening at all, it's really dragging, I can't relax and it's still too early to justifiably go to bed.

@Miniature Sheep - that's nostalgic :D I grew up playing/singing certain sea shanties thanks to my family indoctrinating me as a kid to shanties, folk music and other random things not in the charts :) I also have a tin whistle somewhere. Haven't seen it for a while (although Dad always called them flageolets so I grew up calling it that as well. xD). I played mostly on the recorder (sopranino and descant) as a kid, before I started messing with the clarinet and the violin (the latter mostly badly). But singing has always been the most fun and this is definitely the year for a bit of musical cheer!

Much agreed! Unfortunately, my musical offerings at the moment are a bit stilted and awkward, but my efforts on the tin whistle are gradually getting smoother with practice. Hopefully by this time next year, it'll be more flowing and elegant. Flageolet is a good term, it's got a nice aura of élan about it! :D I had a few run-ins with the violin too, and would love to try it again sometime in the future; my main stumbling block was constantly failing to get the bridge to stay on the violin while tuning it, which didn't do me any favours with learning to play it.
As for what made me smile today, that was cheekily shuffling around the decorations on the Christmas tree. It was looking a bit imbalanced, so I swapped a few different baubles around and it looks a lot better now.

Twinings lapsang souchong, which I leave to brew for a good long while to get it as smokey as possible.

Thank you for introducing me to this. I bought a box and it arrived today, I'm having my first cup. The smell alone! Do you know how much I spend on candles that smell like this?! Now I can drink it! It's delicious! It reminds me a bit of sassafras bark but better. I think I'll add a little bit of creamer to it. I still love chai but I'm keeping this in my cupboard going forward as long as it doesn't hurt my stomach.

I'm very glad that you're enjoying it! :)

The chromebook has now thrown its little hat into the ring or troublesome computers, as it randomly switched itself off without warning. I'm hoping it was a one-off malfunction, as it was running just fine prior to that. It's probably something of nothing, but with this happening so recently after the laptop drama, there's the fear. To be on the safe side, I'm going to make a recovery drive for it; hopefully I won't ever have to use it!
