Toy Box & Games Cupboard / Re: Do You Know About Bakugan?
« on: February 08, 2021, 11:06:10 PM »
Hello there!

I remember the show but wasn't too much interested in it. However, I really like that kind of egg/ball-shaped toys that can unfurl to become a little creature, so I liked Bakugan toys. As a kid, I only had Tigrera, and then gave it away to some kid. Now that Bakugan is back, I picked up Pegatrix, because of course

I'm excited, I can't help to compare the "pony species associated with movie genres" thing with the "troll species associated with music genres" they did with Trolls 2... it's not something bad, tho! I'd like more of the same base concept as long as it's well handled  :)

I don't have a *big* collection per se, but I'm very glad to have Basic Fun Moonstone and Medley! They were two of my priority ponies. I'd love to add a Princess Silver Swirl and a Rarity to my collection in the future!

I keep meaning to check this show out. How is it?

It's been very fun so far! Personally, I'm much into international versions (specially Spain and Mexico, since the latter's got my favourite mask of them all  :P), but I also admire the US's high quality costumes, clue cartoons and special effects (not that the other versions don't have that either but you can easily tell A LOT of money has went into US's season 4). I especially love the performances and the designs of the costumes themselves!

I just realized they're making this show in my country and immediately got obsessed over all the international costumes. They're so elaborate and so fun! I know the biggest sell is guessing who is under the mask, but as for me, I'm just in for the costumes and performances  ;)

Do you watch the show? Who's your favourite costume? Any guesses for who they might be? Please feel free to share pictures, I'd love to see as many costumes as I can!

I know her pal Firefly gets more rep, but I find Medley to be a pleasant shade of green, and very gorgeous  :)

Not related to the wand itself, but may I just drop by to say I love Princess Cowboy a lot? And how the wand's tip looks like a sheriff's star and it fits so so well with the whole attire?

Was the stream UK-based?

I had assumed it was something Spanish related given Dreamer's location. I actually don't know if that rules in or out Glory, but I think Mexican PC has darker hair.

Taffeta's right, streamers are from Spain.

I wouldn't rule out neither a childhood collection or a "collector" one, since they also had what it seemed to be Grayskull's castle, a rather large classic rainbow troll and a pencil topper from Dreamworks Trolls from McDonalds. They could also have kids which would explain the modern troll, so there's no way to actually tell.

In either case, I'm glad I shared this with you, it's been very fun and interesting to read your deductions about the mystery ponies

So, I'm attending a livestream on acting, and I did not expect the hosts to have a shelf full of ponies behind them!

visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Excuse the blurriness, the resolution of the stream is just what it is.

So far I recognize Majesty, Tic-Tac-Toe, Confetti and Brilliant Blossoms, but what about the ones at the foremost right?

It's like the ultimate fantasy horse franchise for me. I'm so sad I missed its golden days  :cloud: The art is gorgeous, the messages are inspiring, and that little web game looked very fun. I have played the 3DS game, tho, since I found it second-hand for cheap. It's not the end-all of gaming but as long as it lets me customize my own fantasy horse and make it gallop through beautiful landscapes, that's all I need.

Share your experiences, memories, favourite horses, reminisce. Have fun!

Hello, Pony Arena!!

I'm the proud owner of a 35th Anniversary Moonstone!  :newpony:

But that's not the reason I'm writing, otherwise this would go on Brags  :P

Thing is, I clean/disinfect all the things I buy online (more than ever!), but I don't know how to tackle this blueberry-scented, glittery-marked unicorn without accidentally ruining her.

We usually use a rather strong alcohol/spray to clean things, but for one of my recent Zelfs, I opted for cleaning her with hot water and dish soap (Zelf soup :P), but I'm afraid for the aforementioned scent (I'd rather keep it) and glitter symbol.

So yeah, how do I make this pony clean and safe to handle without damaging her?

My Starshine has arrived & she STINKS!!! And I don't have a sensitive nose. I pity those who do...

What is she supposed to smell like? I recall my Moonstone is scented too and I don't know how much blueberry I can take

Obligatory music theme while reading this topic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n034ODGVlNE

As for an actual answer, Domino's actually pretty good here in my country (as far as I know). I heard there's a pretty good mom & pop's pizzeria at a town next to mine, and I'd like to try, but in current circumstances... I wonder if I can get their phone number and place an order for delivery, tho.

As for specific pizzas, I like them with thick, almost bread-like crust, not too cheesy (I find melty, stringy cheese too gross  :X) and with chicken, mushroom and onion  :P

Toy Box & Games Cupboard / Re: Crystal Creatures anyone?
« on: October 07, 2020, 02:50:06 AM »
Thanks for the full Crystal Creatures codes, Dragonflitter! I managed to get Rubywing and Rosestone today (yup, we're still with Series 1 here, might as well get all the ones I want in the meantime).

And here's some questions for everyone just to spark up some conversation: do you prefer Crystal Creatures or Breakout Beasts? Which one is your favourite? Are you inclined to certain colours or animals?

I'm particularly inclined to the horse-like beasts/figures, for obvious reasons  :satisfied: But for some reason, I like the more recent dinosaurs/wyverns than the dragons in both series. I feel the dragons are too... samey?
