I'll keep trying then. Doesn't help that my Valenshy had the worst frizz out of my entire collection. I was continually greasing the hair with a mixture of water & conditioner.

The iron helped, kinda. Smoother somewhat, though there's still some frizz on the way down. And the ends of the mane/tail are still a mess. If I can find fabric softener laying around (Someone a few posts above mentioned Downy) I'll try that. Turns out all Pale Pinkie needed was a bit of conditioner and combing. A bit of frizz, but nothing to worry about. Back to Valenshy, should I have gotten a flat iron? The curling iron didn't do much to that mass of frizz, I could feel it getting snagged on the way out. Wondering if a flat iron would make a better difference.

Good gravy that's amazing. Awesome collection. I like that note about saying See you later after G4 ends. The show may be ending, but the friendships we've made, experiences we've had and all the loot collected will last well beyond.

Yeah, not very pink anymore. Bought her used years ago when the MLP fair came to Nashville TN. Dunno how the previous owner handled/stored her, but she's been sitting on the back of my G4 Pinkie shelf for years with no direct exposure to sunlight. Haven't really looked close at her until today.
Back on the topic of frizz, I've done about half of Valenshy's tail. Slick and shiny on the way down, though it's still frizzy at the last inch or so. I don't want to cut if off, since I like to preserve as much as the pony as possible. And I'd rather not turn the curling iron on too high for fear of melting the hair.
How would y'all handle this situation? Wondering if I should've gotten a flatter hair tool, though I could use a clothes iron.

Finally got a curling iron. Started off on a "decent condition" Applejack (Pindot/Smooze everywhere, both inside and out). Finished her tail earlier, her head's currently on a windowsill, trying to sunfade some marks away. Not perfect, but much better than before. Still bits of frizz, least it's a lot smoother and shinier. Next up: a pair of pink ponies

Oxiclean treatment mostly helped with AJ. Significantly better, I posted a pic of her in the brag forum, she was completely covered in rust on the inside. Though there's a lot of tiny specks of rust both inside and outside, which I think are a permanent feature now, they refused to come out. Got any suggestions on how to get those out? AJ's hairplugs are still quite discolored, her mane/tail look great aside from being a tangled frizzy mess. The washer's completely disintegrated, clamps discolored but otherwise fine. Got some marker on her muzzle, I'll try sunfading that when I have time. Lemon Drops has some faint stains, is it safe to sunfade her as well? Her legs are a bit stiffer compared to the rest of her body, I'll have to see if I have anything else to deal with potential plasticizer leakage. And the remaining rust issues with AJ. Is it safe to display older pony toys infected with spreadable issues, on a separate shelf far away from toys you don't want contaminated? Or is it better to hide them in a closet somewhere? Post Merge: September 29, 2019, 09:48:13 AMThis is what's left of the rust inside AJ. Her head's got the same leftovers, would've gotten a pic of that as well but my phone camera refuses to focus when taking closeup pics. I'll look into other rust remover options next time I visit my local Walmart

Found a G1 Applejack at an antique mall, her washer had disintegrated and she was covered with rust inside, and some appeared outside as well. That isn't scrubbing off. Saw someone use oxiclean and hot water to deal with rust, is that gonna cause issues with the glue holding her mane?
Said applejack also has orange apples. I haven't seen any variant of AJ with orange apples, least on my little wiki. Reckon i'll have to paint them red if I ever get this AJ cleaned up.
How does one get rid of ink or marker stains?
I've a Lemon Drops whose hooves are shiny/sticky. Is this plasticizer leakage?
Thanks

I'll really scrub her out later this weekend, when I have time. Her apple symbols are a pale yellow, I'm guessing that's a fading issue, no variant of AJ I looked at has yellow apples

Found these at the Treasures Antique mall in Cookeville TN. Still a handful of MLP toys there, mostly Fireflies, a G1 pony with a missing hoof, several G3 Pinkie Pies and Rainbow Dash, and a Show Stable. Lemon Drops and Magic Star. Great condition. Applejack here on the other hand... Not a pretty sight. Some marker stains on her mouth, and there's a layer of rust coating her inside. Her washer fell out in a pile of rust and her hair is a frizzy mess. Gonna take a while to clean her up.

Considering offers on this G1 MLP carrying case. Another thrift store rescue, the glue holding the plastic sections to the case itself was filthy and falling apart. Removed with Goo Gone, and kept the plastic in place with a piece of masking tape. Decent condition otherwise, some cardboard damage and missing laminate. Also have some IDW comics featured below. -#5-8 (the Nightmare Rarity arc) -#13-14 (think it's the pirate/mermare arc) -#15-16 (bookworms) -#21-22 (something with Trixie) -#23, 24 -handful of friends forever. I apologize, right about here I gave up on gave up on describing these comics. Been years since they've seen light, kept them in bags/board and read once. Great condition at least. Make me an offer, tack on whatever it costs to ship an ~8lb package anywhere in the US and it's yours. Once again, free delivery if meeting in Cookeville TN. There's some various other comics I'll toss in for free. Various Enterplay posters: https://imgur.com/HkVAfThhttps://imgur.com/QePyromhttps://imgur.com/RM5ue2vDecent condition, considering they came folded up in the boxes/tins. I'll consider offers on said boxes/tins, no pics though. Make an offer on the posters, tack on around $8 for shipping as I'd have to buy a cardboard tube/envelope. Official Autographed cards: Series 1-4 con promos: Also entertaining the idea of selling my Enterplay MLP trading card and dog tag collection.. Not the CCG, that's Enterplay's tabletop card game. Includes all commons/foils from series 1-4 (the exception being one fan art card featuring a friends art, had him autograph it, and kept it for myself), all of the convention/event exclusive promo cards, signed by VA's of featured characters (Series 3 Pinkie/Fluttershy was personalized by Andrea, might detract the value, I can work with that). Cards have been kept in binders, frames or harder plastic sleeves. Spare cards, there's a lot of these, are kept in boxes. One of those frames has a chipped corner and is missing a screw. Cards are perfectly fine. Some cards from my series 1 collection are slightly bent inwards, been in a binder for years. Everything else should be fine. The following official autograph cards are also included: Tabitha St. Germain & Lee Tockar from the first batch, Tabitha St. Germain, Ingrid Nilson, Weird Al and Kathleen Barr from the second set. Kathleen Barr's autograph is harder to get ahold of, she rarely if at all, goes to conventions. And most of the boxes, lunchbox tins, and posters included in said boxes. Would like to sell these to a serious collector, feel free to make a reasonable offer. Not gonna go too low on a price for this entire collection. Shipping is gonna be interesting, haven't calculated that yet. Expect it to be rather high considering the weight and quantity of these items. And the fact that I intend to use plenty of packing material so nothing gets damaged in transit. Free delivery to Cookeville TN

So there's this 12 mile stretch on I40 in Tennessee with no exits. Just past the only exit for a while... and traffic stopped. Apparently two trucks and a car were having an unpleasant party up the road. Took around three hours to clear the accident. Least I had my phone fully charged, spent that time watching Another Dirty Room and Bob Ross.
Passed one of the trucks on my way home, the wheels/cab were at a 45 degree angle compared to the road, and that wasn't due to the tow truck. Was one rough accident.
