I've never seen anything like that before. But it looks a lot like mould to me :\

Not an expert on prices lol, but I would think (with the chipped roof) maybe around $20-$25?

Not too sure, but I would guess $40-$50 with all the issues. At least her bubble hasn't yellowed  :)

Price Check Archives / PC: MOC G1 Seashell?
« on: October 23, 2014, 06:09:15 PM »
Hi everyone, just out of curiosity, could I get a PC for an MOC G1 seashell? I've never seen an MOC one before and I feel lucky to have one :) Sadly, her bubble has yellowed pretty badly due to age but her card is immaculate  I don't have a pic of her currently, but I'll try add pics over the weekend :) Any suggestions would be very helpful :)

Oh and her card is still attached all around but the bottom of the plastic has been glued back to the card.

Congrats to the winner!! :) I can't seem to get the video to play on my iPad or phone. :)

It was someone called Rory I think, it was a little blurry. But I couldn't find the post from that person on this thread :\ wanted to see the pony he/she posted...

I saw that too, that is the same seller. He had 2 to sell but I'm not sure why he used the same picture for both paradise estates. I would suggest you ask for extra pictures before bidding. That's what I did :)

Off Topic / Re: What would be your ultimate thrift store find?
« on: October 22, 2014, 08:54:36 PM »
Well, for me, I don't really have any thrift stores where I am but there is a place that people rent lockers and put their things up for sale (most aren't vintage) but I found a German Skydancer there (but she had cancer spots all over :( but her mane and tail are AMAZING!). I also found German Baby Playtime (Baby Wurfulchen or something like that  ). I did find a vintage store (not really a thrift store) and found a G3 MIB Toboggan :)

Does anyone know where they usually put the Certificate of Authenticity? This is my first LE doll. I'm curious about her number, but I don't want to open her up if possible. Her gorgeous box is part of her charm. <3

When you remove the first "layer" of the box and remove the plastic window, the certificate of authenticity should be on the "ground"- the base of the box :) I'd love to know what number you got!

Does anyone know how to get to case open on the couples' box? John Smith's head is turned away from Pocahontas, like completely away! And I can't figure out how to open the box to straighten his head :(
[/quote]

If you look under the box, you'll see two little tabs. I think it was on the front and back. If you now hold the box and press the front and back of the box hard enough, the tabs would move and leave enough room to just squeeze through the gap. Does that make sense? Basically, press the front and back of the box toward each other as if you were squeezing the box, then lift the case up :) hope this helps!

I had trouble with it too lol

Quote from: ashlyne link=topic=358971.msg1289955#msg1289955  But if the pink just has a bit of yellowing, it should work to take care of that.
