Heh, ok. I figured it was probably something obscure since I've never seen anything like it (at least in pictures). It's up for sale!

I remember having something like this, or one of my younger siblings did. It was dubbed a "quiet toy", fold-out/fold-up, portable/travel dollhouse.

What are the tags on the bums of the bears? Manufacture origin tags?

OP said "no tags". the little tab things in the photo are Velcro bits so the bears stay put :)

They alllllllmost look like Merryweather Bears but you can't always go by embroidered face design.

Actually, the little bears do have tags. Just simple plain ones though, that say 'made in china'. (Everything is made in china, it seems...)

Can anyone help me identify this playset? It has no markings, the tags are missing.

*lol* How long do you figure it will be before your heart slows down?  Gotta love the euphoria of an awesome score!  Congrats!

When G2's hit stores in 1998, I found a store that was selling a stash of MIP G1 Sparkle Pony Mail Orders. The only had three left, but when I asked if they had more, the girl said there had been a whole box full. Almost all gone before I got there, of course. Funniest part was, the store had no G2's for sale. Oh, and they were priced at $1.27 each.

How similar are these ponies to the 25th re-release? Are the colors and styles the same? Are these 35th anniversary ones closer to the originals?

I won't use it. No no no no no.

That's just crazy!  I had no idea this sort of thing could happen. I would be calling ebay and asking them a bunch of questions. Are we all suddenly opted in for this new way of doing things?

I won't buy from sellers that use it. At all. And I stopped sending messages to sellers asking if they would ship via regular mail. For all the reasons stated above, too expensive, extra fees/duty, damage to items, etc.

As a seller, I also won't use it, because the seller is responsible if something arrives damaged.

I was... very pleased with how this went. I'm only level 27, so was surprised to get invited, even more surprised to find a group of 38 high level players already there when I arrived which gave enough oomph for me to be part of a winning team, and then utterly shocked when I managed to catch him!

Battle was in Dunnville, Ontario.

I have a bright pink Furby Boom in played with, but pretty much still like new, condition. I'm in Canada, so shipping is going to run between $15 and $30 dpending where you are.

Stand your ground. You are doing the right thing. At this point, I would stop talking to them. If they open an item not as described case, then check off the option for 'return item for full refund'. Then they will with either return the item or not. Do NOT give them a partial or full refund and let them keep the item. This is a classic case of a buyer who is trying to pull a fast one on you.

If they leave negative feedback, get in touch with ebay via phone. They can go back through the messages and see how nasty the buyer is being, and will likely remove the feedback.

I was looking up Avon cats on ebay, and found this random ebay auction. It's for a few vintage toys, seller doesn't seem to know what they have. There are two Voltron lions in the mix. BIN is $10.

Look up Vintage Toys 1984 World Events Cat and it should come up. Or PM me if you want it, I kept the link.

I agree with everyone else. Ask the buyer to resend the payment. If they refuse to, or 'forget' to, then call ebay and speak with a representative there. Hopefully this buyer has been messaging you through the ebay message system, so ebay can confirm what they said.
