Pony Brag Arena / Re: Epic (and sneaky) BIN!!

Exciting!  Please post owner photos when you receive them!

Oh yes, please do! We want to see them in all their glory!

Of course! They're all going through the pony spa now, so it'll be a bit before everyone is spic and span (these ladies have seen some STUFF) but I'll do the super special babies first so they can be posted (if I ever figure out this PhotoBucket thing) Even the Cabbage Patch Magic Meadow Ponies are in nice condition, with their original fabric flower hair clips!

(Me, thirty seconds ago)

Oh cool, lots of ponies! And another sort of horse toy too.

(Me, upon seeing THREE* BB TAFs)

Seriously! Congrats!

*It's too late for me to be awake.

I didn't mean to make anyone cry! I'm sorry...i just wanted to share in the pony goodness! LOL Believe me, I was pretty shocked to see them all together...i didn't know people could have more than one, especially since I couldn't afford even one when they were available as a child. I'm glad I got to finally see them IRL, though....they are very cute.

MLP Nirvana / Re: HELP! Questions on cleaning Brazil Ponies Please :)

I adore Brazil ponies and have a quite a few I've collected over the years. They're often prone to seepage and stickiness, unfortunately, but Dawn does a wonderful job of taking that stuff off without harming the plastic or the coloration of the pony. I agree with PKW on the fragility of their hair v chemicals, so I try not to use the Dawn on their hair at all. I put a little on a Magic Eraser and just work it gently over the body. For hair I'll use a gentle shampoo and conditioner for fine hair...believe it or not the "No More Tears" baby shampoo is extremely harsh on pony hair (or so I've found) so I don't use it at all.

I used a no more tears shampoo once and it wasn't as good as I hoped! I'm glad to hear I am not alone in thinking so.

I use a shampoo and conditioner designed for wigs/synthetic/nylon hair :)

Love pkw xxx

The feeling is entirely mutual. I haven't seen anything actually written about it, but I really do think it's awful for pony hair!

I was just kind of fiddling around one evening on that sElling place and a BIN popped up that I simply couldn't pass by. Thy just arrived today and they're everything I had hoped they would be! Ponies I never thought I'd see in real life, let alone own! I'm planning on selling them, since I'd rather send them off to someone who would really appreciate them, but I'm honestly thrilled to have the pleasure of cleaning them up and seeing them to new and loving homes.
I don't know how to use this new PhotoBucket thing, so I hope it isn't wrong of me to post the completed auction. Apologies if it is bad, and I'll delete if required.

Is the ring made of plastic, like the North American counterparts, or are they metal?

MLP Nirvana / PC on loose Argie First Tooth accessories?

I have the accessories to (I believe) Argie baby Ribbs, loose of course, consisting of his sippy cup, bib, tooth brush and toothpaste tube. Would anyone happen to have an estimate of their value? Thanks, all!

A quick question...how does one verify a legit "oddball"? Are the tails anchored the same way as normal pony, or are they more cheaply put together? Not to imply that they are cheap looking or anything, I simply understand that they were kind of made with leftover parts, so I wasn't sure if they have a standard washer. I'm also wondering how you recognise Sundance's body and distinguish it from other bodies?

Sounds to me like this is something that's needed. I'll see what I can do and if successful I'll share it here on the forum to help others :)

It's cardboard covered in vinyl-plastic. I really hope someone has an answer...Google hasn't been much help :(

Pony Corral / Re: Poll: Is Mimic really as rare as we think she is?
« on: October 28, 2017, 11:38:58 AM »
I'm not sure she's so much rare as not as easily available. People who get her tend to keep her, so fewer are on the market than many other ponies. Personally, I see far fewer Bright Eyes for sale than Mimics....though her price tends to reflect that as well.

I picked up a few sets yesterday so if anyone is interested you can PM me and I can ship them wherever. Have any of you seen pictures of them and what they look like? If I get more orders than what I have my cinema still has some left, but it would have to be quick...the fellow at the concession said they're going to be pulling them soon!

Pony Corral / Does anyone know of tutorials to repair MLP carry cases?
« on: October 28, 2017, 02:16:55 AM »
I recently bought a baby carrying case (holds quite a few babies in one box) but it has some minor damage and I was wondering  if there might be something out there that can help me restore it properly? Thanks so much!!

There are some super talented people here who can de-beddy bye eye a baby pony, colour her green if needed, and put in crystals for her eyes as well as painting symbols. The ones I've seen are just absolutely adorable! That might be a good present as it's small and won't take up much room in her fuzzy house :D
