Off Topic / Re: We're going to Disney World! Tips?

If you think your 5 year old will want to dress up like a Princess, I would consider trying to find a costume before you go- maybe from craigslist or second hand store.  The Bibbity-Bobbity Boutique is ADORABLE but if you get the whole package of hair, make-up, and costume, it's quite expensive.  If you brought a costume, she could still get the hair and makeup done at the boutique for a much more reasonable price.

There's good shopping at Downtown Disney off the Disney theme park land if you will have transportation and don't want to waste your Park day in the shops!

Do FastPass.  It's where you take your ticket, run it through a scan machine at the beginning of the ride at it gives you a time to come back.  When you return at that time, you get to stand in the shorter line- this really makes it possible to do more of the attractions.  You can send someone in your group to to that but I think there is a limit on how many fastpasses each ticket can have.  Going on spring break might mean a major wait no matter what though, so you'll probably want to get there right when the park opens OR go later and stay til closing if your little one won't get grumpy after usual bedtime!

Bring something for your kid to do in line.  You will be standing in line and/or waiting on parades and performances.  You still have a stroller?  I would recommend buying or borrowing a real simple easy to fold one with a back pocket for her books/games.  Put your name on it.

Hats and sunscreen!
I so second this dress idea!!!! When I went there the dresses alone were around 60+ dollars. My daughter already had all of them at home, but she just got her feelings hurt that I wouldn't buy one there. She wanted to look like the million other girls all dressed up there with tons of glitter in their hair ect... Thank God Cinderella was behind us. She saved the day & Made my daughters Day by telling her if she cheered up enough to take pictures with her she would give her the "Official" Cinderella Godmother wand. The wand is my daughters favorite thing from that trip! Everyone was so nice there!

My tips: I recommend downtown Disney at night time! You wont be sorry you went there..I Promise! I like it better than Universal Studios!

Take plenty of pictures! Zip lock baggies to keep stuff dry like phones ect..
Good shoes!
And have fun! Im excited for you and your daughter  :)

Trader & Shipping Support / Re: The down low on shipping prices
« on: January 31, 2014, 02:23:38 PM »
NEVER ask a buyer for more money, i know, it seems to make sense but they will flip out. Its the sellers responsbility to pack and weigh it BEFORE. i cant do that, my house is too small but ive learned to eye thinsg up over they years

I did weigh things and had the exact price. The shipping rates went up for larger packages, and my shipping price was for the rate before it went up. I got stuck with it, But Im wondering if someone else has ever been in my shoes before?

Anyone feel the prices go up on large packages? I know my large packages I had listed on ebay got up charged so does anyone have advice on what to do there? Do I take the Up charge out of my pocket or do I ask the buyers for more money?

Trader & Shipping Support / Re: Package stuck at sorting facility?
« on: January 25, 2014, 05:52:24 PM »
You can have your seller call that sorting facility and search for the item. Ive had to do that with a package before That I had sent. It took a long time and some patience, but I got better info than not calling.
The second time this has ever happened, it was a doll I bought for my daughter, the package is still "at sorting facility" from what the computer says 3 months later. The seller gave me a full refund because there was insurance on the package and it never left her state. I don't know if they gave the package back to her or not.  Good luck and I hope it is just the weather and its not lost. Our shipping is getting just as bad as any now days  :(

Pony Corral / Re: G3.5--Will they be worth something in the future?
« on: January 24, 2014, 06:58:43 PM »
Ive not put much thought to that question, But over all I think they will be sought after, being that they are a pony, but I think it will not be popular like the G1s. It just depends on each person & what they are into... A lot of people didn't like the line. The line didn't  bother me & my daughter likes them so I wont look for them in the future.
