I received 2 of these in a lot but not sure what they came with. They are only about an inch thick.

Off Topic / Re: Planning to move, anyone form Canada for advice?
« on: August 27, 2012, 05:54:05 AM »
Not far from Nova Scotia is New Brunswick, which is a bilingual (French and English) province and is near the sea too. (I'm a bit partial to it since my mom came from there.) The Maritimes are beautiful - I really loved Prince Edward Island when we travelled there.

I think expensive is a relative term. Compared to the US, Canadians pay more for things since we are a large country with a tenth of their population. But compared to Europe, Canada is cheaper when it comes to gas and real estate.

I'm now looking at schools and the whole educational system. I just fear schools might be far.
It depends on where you plan to live but schools aren't usually too far away. They usually have good bussing systems.

« on: August 26, 2012, 08:18:35 PM »
Here are a bunch of small toys that I would like to identify. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The second picture is a close up of a part of the first picture.
Thanks!

Pony Corral / Re: Does anyone collect G1 ponywear?
« on: August 17, 2012, 10:19:27 PM »
I love ponywear!!!!!!  :lovey: I have the complete set... except I gave up the silver purse from From the Designer collection and have yet to find another one to replace it.

I'm trying to collect all of them on Canadian cards - have all the Megan and Pony sets and the Pocket Pal sets (except I think the elephant suit)

Have quite a few Nirvana sets too. One of my grails is the white & blue dress from Peru that I missed out on, got the other 2 which are cute.

Most ponywear doesn't sell well since they are quite common. I have stacks of shoes and Great Skates saddle blankets and saddles that no one is buying since most collectors would already have them. It's the easily lost pieces that are more sought after.

I received this in a lot but don't know if this is MLP or even what the large brush thing is for. The little flower has velcro on the bottom of it. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

Pony Corral / Amber's Dream?
« on: May 31, 2012, 06:27:50 AM »
My aunt found me a MLP cassette and when she was telling me about it on the phone, she said it was "Amber's Dream". I thought she must have misread it since it should be "Ember's Dream". But when I got it from her, sure enough, it says "Amber". What's up with that? Is that a misprint?

Pony Corral / Re: Sun fading success!
« on: May 22, 2012, 03:26:11 PM »
I am amazed. He looks brand new. I didn't realize it would take that long. Wow.  I need to try this.  Just curious what did you cover with tin foil?  It doesn't look like there is any uneven fading so I want to know how you did that?  I also wanted to know did you turn him at all and how often?

I covered his symbols and head so the factory paint wouldn't fade. I did turn him, only whenever I happened to be walking by and would stop and check on his progress.

You can ignore the stars if you choose. They only factor in the stars that are clicked. I have an uneven count for my stars since someone missed, ignored or chose not to click one of the ratings.

Although, I guess if she got an email notification of my PM, she would have gotten my address that way so it's possible she has shipped. I sure hope so. The accessories and ponies were all set completers.

Well, I know she couldn't have sent mine since she would have had to read her PMs to get my address (it wasn't included with the payment) so I hope she comes back soon. I checked my Paypal account and looks like you can report a problem with the payment but not sure if that means I can ask for a refund or if they would even give me one.

If you just submitted it, it has to be approved before it is visible. I get a PM when the feedback I submitted gets approved so you should too.
