I love your goodie stock Sunset!

I enjoyed the movie a lot. The bigger eyes took me a bit to get used to but I like the art style overall.

The only free stuff at my theatre was a certificate that said "My First Movie" that kids could write their names on. It has a picture of the cast and on the back of it was a colouring page.

Spoiler
I think I like Capper's song the best,
but repeat viewings are needed to reach a final conclusion. Tempest' s Song is a close second.

I agree that the Storm King was kinda meh but I also think Tempest was a stronger villain by being the brains of the two. She really was the real antagonist.

I too wish the pirates had more to do. I was kind of hoping to hear more of their backstory and their relationship with the Storm King but I guess that would have slowed down the pacing.

For as much screentime as Rainbow Dash got, I really didn't mind her. I generally think she is overly rude and too overpowered, but I think she was more like the early seasons of Rainbow Dash which I appreciated.

I thought it was odd that there was no mention of the Elements of Harmony, but not a huge omission.

Love Tempest's true name!

This is all I can think of right now but I'm sure I'll come up with more after thinking it over. I will definitely be getting this on blu-ray when it comes out.

I'm avoiding listening to any songs until the movie but it is getting hard to resist!

Stay strong!  Only 9 more days left!

So close, yet so far away...

Off Topic / Fun things to do in Oregon
« on: September 25, 2017, 10:03:23 PM »
So I just recently moved over 2,000 miles to the lovely state of Oregon! Oregon has been wonderful so far but I was curious as to what local attractions people enjoy. I am in the Salem area and would love to know about great places to eat, trails to hike, theaters to visit, etc. Also, are there any pony-related groups or anything around here?

I'm excited to see the movie. I've got a Queen Novo shirt already from We Love Fine. I think I like these seaponies  much as the gen1 version. I'm definitely going to go watch this in theaters.
I've actually just moved to the Salem/Portland area of Oregon and would love to see the film with anyone on here who would like to go. Getting to know some pony fans in a new city would be wonderful. ☺

Man I missed the Valentine's events! My phone freaked out and I lost all my data. :-/ 8136940 is my friend code if anyone wants to add me again.

You should contact Gameloft support!! They might be able to help!

I can't remember my previous ID though...I might see what they can do though. Thanks for the advice!

I started wearing glasses full time about 4-5 years ago. Back in middle school and high school I only wore reading glasses. I haven't considered wearing contacts - honestly the idea kinda freaks me out.

Thanks for the advice lostpony. Unfortunately I bought these two at Barnes and Noble way back before Halloween and I no longer have the receipt. I'm not sure if I'll try to move the leg, I actually like the idea of a vanquished foe! I may make a little scene for them too and could put a stalagmite or something under her hoof.
If I decide to alter her I will definitely take pictures to show off the results.

I have Celestia and Nightmare Moon and love them.  But I am disappointed that my Nightmare Moon can't stand on her own - I have to put something under her one hoof or she will fall right over.  Does anyone else have this problem?

I really want a Shining Armour next, he looks awesome.

Mine stands up great.  A little disappointed only the wings are articulated though...I'd add pics but she looks just like the one pictured earlier here and she stands on her rear hooves and a points on the bottom of her tail where it is directly under her front hooves.

Do you have a picture of yours?  Maybe the point on the tail is wrong and can be corrected.

I took some pictures, I will put them behind a spoiler tag.  Looking closer at her, I am wondering if her left rear leg is too short or if the little tail swirl is too long?

Spoiler
This is a picture of me attempting to make her stand up straight.  You can see that her left rear leg is quite a bit off of the ground.

Close up of the hoof.

And this is what she looks like if I try to have her stand on her own.  I have to hold her up or she topples.

My current set up to keep her upright.
