Okay bear with me here:
I deflock all my ponies, no matter what the flocking condition is.
I reroot all my ponies, despite 'good' hair quality
I think the pony tales cartoon is great.
I remove the first tooth paint from first tooth babies with acetone.
And now everyone will call me a pony abuser 
I totally get why you would want to deflock because when I was a kid I hated the flocking and tried to rub it off. Also there are quite a few pony fans I have seen expressing their distaste for the first tooth on the babies so you are not alone. Do you reroot the hair because you dont like the colors or just because you want the hair to be in the most pristine condition?

A word of warning; Peru customs opened the box MOC Starshine was in, REMOVED the pony from her card, pulled her head off (leaving nice black print marks on her body) and taped the boxes up with one single piece of tape (not lengthways along the opening, but acrossways) . I am surprised I received her head and accessories safely 
Oh my god I would have died. But, like you said, there's nothing you can do.

Oh man. Same. I think that they are hideous. I don't get why they had to make them look like that when they could have produced a normal looking pony for attendees. Im glad that the 2018 pony fair is going with a normal simple G1 design

I have her! She was one of the ponies I remember playing with the most when I was super young! I lost her, and then I was able to obtain her again a few years ago at a convention in good condition.  I just love the white body with the dark red hair.

Funko Pops-This is more to do with the fact that I hate funko pops because they're creepy, ugly and ruin every franchise they touch.
Thank GOD someone else agrees with me! Every single anime/collector/comic/toy store has walls filled with these ugly hunks of junk. They got rid of the sailor moon section in Think Geek to put up a wall of these. Their dead eyes are scary and so nasty to me. I hate them. why are there so many? The vendors hall at conventions have so many of these and not enough good merchandise

My brother once brought me home a pony that he found while climbing up onto a park shelter's roof.
It was Medley without a head. Thus, my alias ever since then has been "headlesspony" (except for this forum) I still played with her without a head but I ended up losing her somehow along the road.

The BBEs for me. As a kid I always made her the outcast of the group or a sick pony everyone had to save/take care of. It sounds so mean! But, I think I found them unnerving, as I feel that way as an adult. Especially when their eyes yellow, but I think it's mostly do to how the plastic shapes around the eye.
Oh my gosh that is so weird I did the EXACT. SAME. THING. with my one BBE. It didnt help that she had her face also chewed on by my cousin's dog. But she was always the sickly outcast. I just dont like BBE. Still. When I was young I hated the SS ponies and would try to rub their flocking off but now I wish I hadnt because the SS are now my favorites.

I know why some of mine have rust....I played with my ponies in water every chance I could. Even the so soft ponies....the joy of dipping Shady in the pool and seeing her light pink flock turn a shocking hue of pink was amazing to me. And I had a Paradise Estate, with which the pool was always full of water. I'd say that a pony with tail rust was well-loved by a person. But NOW when I see tail rust on my ponies I am like "oh man I should really replace the washer". But I just dont have time.

I almost liked them when I saw this photo on Pinterest (I didn't know that their eyes open and close), but I realised that I just thought that the photo was very sweet. I see other pictures of them, and I may like a colour scheme or a name or a symbol, but overall, they are just not for me.
That IS a very cute photo! they look like theyre having a really nice dream
