My niece received her ponies and pretty parlor playset in the mail and she loved it! My sister keeps sending me videos of her playing with them. She likes organizing the items in the parlor and also tucking all the ponies into little beds that she made. I still have a Moondancer I need to send her, too.

I think she looks fine. A return to more horse-like anatomy is always welcome! It's just the eyes that I would rework, because as is they look incredibly cheap and rushed. If you handed her to me before I knew they had made her, I definately would've thought she was a fakie.
But yeah, I'd be fine with this being G5! Just do something new Hasbro, please!

I saw this featured on Sunset's Ponies youtube channel! First of all, I had no idea that a new season of Stranger Things was coming out! So I'm pretty excited for that. Also this pony promotion is awesome! I only wish they had done something different to her name so that we could consider her an entirely new character in our collection rather than just an AJ recolor. (Come on, Basic Fun! Please make new pony characters!)
But this is really cool. It will definitely stand out in the collection for those of you who collect and display BF ponies in-box.

Okay, so, I guess I've been really behind on G4 news but today I saw actually NEW character brushables at Dollar General today. WHAT? Do you mean to tell me Hasbro ACTUALLY made some ponies outside of the mane 6? They were pearlized, which was a bit of a let down, but still! Almost pleased with Hasbro for once. They actually did a thing that's not boring mane 6!

I checked Target today and they had restocked the Earth Ponies set and the CP set. No sign of the set with Confetti. I think my Target won't restock the unicorn/Pegasus set. I haven't seen them for months either. Yeah, Saturday strikes me as an odd time to restock shelves. Most retail chains are short-staffed, so where do they find the time on their busiest day? Either way, it's true! They restocked at my Target too. There is now two Seashells, two Applejacks, a Bowtie, and a Bubbles. So I snatched Bubbles up pronto! Now I can send my niece a nice colorful birthday mail filled with ponies - specifically Peachy, Confetti, Tickle, and Bubbles. My sis tells me she is obsessed with anything relating to horses, ponies, and unicorns right now... so I'm sure she'll love these. The best thing is with so many of them being made so far, I could totally send her a new addition for her collection for every major holiday. I hope Basic Fun keeps doing this forever, haha!!

I'm trying to get my niece a bunch of ponies for her birthday and I'm trying to get her a good mix of colors, poses and types. At Target today I got Confetti, Tickle, and the Pretty Parlor. I really wanted to include Sunbeam and Bubbles too, but couldn't find any at either Target in my area - not even on the Target website! So I was just wondering if they still even sell those two in stores. I'm not about to start buying secondhand because I see that they're already going for much higher than retail.
If anything this is a good sign that Basic Fun is doing well though! Honestly I love these sets so much I'd collect them myself if I had the space. It's so exciting to see them in such lovely vintage packaging looking all beautiful, clean, and vibrant! Honestly it's almost surreal - like something out of a dream.

Amen. By the way, I've been kind of out of the loop with BF updates. So has there been any talk of them creating any new ponies? I heard there was some sort of letter-writing campaign to get the celestial space ponies made - did anything happen with that?

Yeah most of the ones on my want list are third party haha, hasbro just doesn’t make quality tf figures anymore 
Unless ya count the masterpiece Beast Wars throwbacks they came out with lately. I only know of Cheetor and Dinobot but they're niiiiice. Still, quite pricey.

StayGoldPonyboy, (love that name!) I actually do plan on getting Nautica and Windblade, but so far I'm kinda unimpressed with the ones that currently exist. Windblade started off ugly as heck in the Generations line, but she's steadily getting better as they come out with more versions of her. So far the Cyberverse one is pretty ok. Hasbro's pretty lazy with paint applications ever since Generations ended, so if there's a Takara version I might get that.

I don't actively collect anymore but I used to collect a ton! Eventually it became too much for me and I sold most of my collection to some guy at a comic-con for $50. Selling online was too much of a pain and at least I made someone pretty happy that day.
