Great to see the elephants and the bear again after a travel across the globe, and it's also great to know they are in a home where they are appreciated 
These 3 fakies used to belong to my sister, but she didn't need them anymore, so she gave them to me, and I thought pyrodarknessanny might like them I remember us playing with them in the early 1990s. Unfortunately I cannot remember where and in what format they were purchased, and nor can she (it must have been a local purchase though, so in Hungary). She was super amazed and happy when I told her where the fakies are now 
The fact that the elephants glow in the dark surprised both of us, we were totally unaware of their GitD feature - such a cool find! 
---Spoiler I am loving this thread (and I seriously need that "My love for unicorns..." backcard :O OMG!  )! I always check fakies, and I have owned some since childhood - I don't actively collect them, and I don't have a lot, but if I find one that I like, I buy it. Unfortuantely almost none are pictured, and most of them are also packed away - but there's one, a thrift find, whom I keep displayed in our living room, because her massive attitude calls for 24/7 visibility. She can be used as a meme for a dozen of situations, but I tend to call her the "Oh, I see what you did there"-fakie. This is why: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginShe has a Pinkie Pie-like cutie mark on one side, butterfly-like wings (maybe that's why she's giggling awkwardly?), and no tail (or maybe this is why. I didn't really realise this until now. Oops  ) Here she is from the front. From this angle she is kinda creepy (especially with the bad lighting)

2 head types here. i have not seen many GID ones with the smaller ear type.
They're adorable, I would never have guessed there were other color options for donkey.
Now, those that have responded are making me wonder if these were even really released in the US...
I'm in the US and I've actually seen a few of the little ones before, but only one GID one so far. Kinda bummed I didn't grab it, but it was pretty ratty.
As far as fakies go the donkeys are fairly generic. Like remcos and fakies of remcos they seam to pop up all over the place. Unlike remcos tho no one truly knows where they originated from.

He's very soft to the touch. I've never saw another like him. (Also on the road to major plasticizer breakdown land...)

I've been seeing a new kind of alicorn fakie recently and I really dig their wings and poseable legs. Also they are all in a Nightmare Moon mold so they have helmets.

ive got both a cheap nail art set up and a "propper" compressor with a branded airbrush.
they both get the job done my only gripe with the cheaper set up is that there is no way so see what the PSI actully is so you have to fiddle with the nobs a bit to get it right,
the other issue with the unbranded set up is in the parts of the brush its self. when doing a deep clean on the cheaper one some small and very fiddly parts are not anchored to other parts like in the brand name brush I have, and they are also spring loaded. so watch out for that.
between the 2 brushes the parts are essensualy the same tho , one is more of a pain to clean then the other.
if you just want something to learn on and your not sure if you want to do more with airbushing then go the cheaper one. the mini compressors they come with are super compact ,

May I ask what the brand the pretty shimmery paint that was used for them? I can't find anything that perfectly opalescent anywhere.
Not to mention, I love the color matching. You did a fantastic job with them!
sorry to disappoint but they only have their fins amd eyes painted. They are made from pearlescent fakies that I got off of Aliexpress
