I'll have my G1s back out for the new year. Until then I'll work on getting my G3s organized. Furthermore, I believe they were getting pretty jealous of having to remain in the bins while the G1s got to be on display.

My parents are professional puppeteers and both they and I have met many of the people behind the Muppets including Carol Spinney (Big Bird), Jane Henson (Jim's wife) and Frank Oz. I can't say I'm a huge fan of the Muppets, but it's cool to actually have pictures and autographs from them. I suppose Big Bird and Grover are my favorites. Elmo is my least favorite - he annoys me with that high-pitch voice. My dad was given the opportunity to join the Muppet team but he didn't want to uproot his young family to go to New York. My sister and I were just settling into school and all our extended family (whom we are very close to) are in Seattle. It was a very noble sacrifice on his part and I love him for the many years of thoughtful care he's given to me, my sisters and our mom. Star Warrior

I'd be happy with either one of them winning. It's so hard to decide, but I think I'm going to have to go with Gusty - an original in my herd and a favorite of mine growing up. I still absolutely love Ice Crystal, though. Go for a tie!! Star Warrior

Thanks everyone for your very nice comments. It feels so good to have them out on shelves instead of packed away in boxes. I like sharing them with friends who come over. I've got about a dozen ponies to go to complete my US collection (not counting Little Litters and Petites). However, I'm afraid I'll have to win the lottery if I want to finish - you can imagine who's missing.

I don't know anything about the G2s, but I'm partial to white horses so "Go Waterlily!"
