If having to do it right outside your place is the best option, are there security cameras? It won't prevent anything bad happening but at least theoretically they'd be caught? If you know where the cameras are you can position yourself where the buyer would be clearly seen.

I also feel like having the item outside and waiting (with you, of course) before they arrive so no one tries to bust in as you're going in and out would make it one bit safer. Door locked, too.

Is there maybe a place nearby that buys old music equipment? If that's the only big item that'd be tough to take across the street then you can just schedule a time for someone to take you to that one place to drop it off and then you wouldn't have to worry about having someone on standby to help when a random offer comes along? Most likely it wouldn't give you the best offer but it'd be the trade off of convenience and security.

When I've met up with people for Facebook Marketplace or Buy Nothing I've picked a random public place like a gas station or store parking lot. I've not tried or confirmed it, but I think sometimes you can do it in front of police stations, too? Maybe you could just do the meetup outside the main office to your place, since that seems like it would be the most convenient option.

I've been trying to get all 67 of these original G4 brushables in box so you may have seen me begging for specific ones on just about every forum and group. But I'm finally just looking for my last one!

There are technically 66, but Cupcake had a variant called Sugarcup, which you can kind of see on the second row. I don't have any of the double pack ones, and I'm not counting them for this part of my collection. I also wouldn't technically call them MIB, since some look like they are missing the bottom ad pamphlets which I believe they should have all had, but visually it makes no difference.

The only one I'm missing is in my Wanted post!

I don't think I've ever seen someone take a picture of the whole set of 67 so I'm excited to soon be able to do so myself!

Edit: The last one should be on its way to me now!!! Updated pictures to come!

They are weird but they are so different, so I do really want one one of these days.

South Carolina gets hurricane season every year but it usually doesn't do much to noncoastal areas of the state. It at least hasn't damaged my area of the state in my lifetime. Edit: That I remember.

I live on a hill, so when we had historic flooding in 2015, I knew areas that were severely flooded but my yard just had a few puddles. I actually was walking around the capital just a day or two before trying to do a "Ponies Around..." kind of photoshoot in the sprinkling rain. Not many people were around so I had free roam. ^-^'

Then there are earthquakes but they are never anything bad in my area. Everything vibrates for two seconds and then that's basically it.

I don't have anything from My Little Pony and Friends or the specials but I've seen and bought some things from the early advertisements so I know those are out there at least!

Mine doesn't seem so bad, then, since the last time I finished one was (I had to check, too ^-^') July 2020. Here's hoping we both make it!

I am! My fanfiction series has been on hiatus for a little while (*cough* years) so here's hoping I can finally crank out the next ones. They've been sitting in my head and rough drafts for far too long.

"The Prince and the Pauper" with the Sprouse twins in it. I'd been curious about watching it for years but just never was able to. I finally found it thrifting and got to watch it. Other than the family friend bribing the cops and the insanely long pointless intro, I kind of liked it! Maybe just because I miss seeing them in their Suite Life shows. Maybe a 5 or 6 out of 10, for being not too impressive but not a complete waste of time? (SPOILER) The plot twist with the family friend was absolutely predictable.

Out of curiosity, what browsers do both of you use?

Google Chrome
