good luck! I hope it goes well. My family takes my collecting OK.. the younger kids in the family think its awesome LOL But some of the older folks think it is a bit ODD until i mention value of some ponies or dolls.. then they are like OH wow really? I think some of them are just jealous that they can't allow them selves to collect cool stuff like dollies and ponies  I don't really care what they think though , all that matters is that you enjoy your hobby!

on an ebay check of her completed auctions, her prices are kind of everywhere.. I see a out of box sold for $40 and MIB from $35- $66 over the last month..

went to TRU today, looking for were cat twins.. but no sign of them. WHat i did see though that I had not heard of yet was awesome life size card board cut outs of MH characters!! Frankie
cutoutsKind of exspensive at $29.99 They had frankie , clawdeen and draculaura. If they would have had lagoona it would have been hard for me to resist. If i just had a MH room, this would be awesome.. maybe for some of you that do!

oh loving spectra and operetta!! so pretty! I think that with spectra the face structure is probably still the same it is just the lighting. so freaking adorable! And I LIKE the dots

Okay, crossposting this from my lj entry:
Alright, so on Wednesday Amazon had the wave 1 DOTD dolls in stock. I decided to order Frankie. I have Amazon Prime and she was eligible for it. However, it said that the estimated arrival day would be in a week.
When I went to go check the order just a minute ago, it isn't even in my orders section??? Huh????
Has this ever happened to anyone else before???
i don't have amazon prime but, i have had this happen.. I ordered some dolls from amazon in dec. I think it was toralei. anyway it didn't show up on my account and i didn't get a confirmation email. But the dolls got to me just the same. you can always email them and ask. but my bet is that if you processed your order that they are on there way to you. Though, the final price with shipping was a lot ($82) I only paid half that because of the money in Paypal. So, I justify this with also being my personal birthday gift to myself.
Anyway, I can't wait to get her!!
congrats!! you will love her! She is beautiful! wow you wern't kidding. I had to check onebay that original abbey was going for that much.. really?? wow.. just wow. is abbey really htf now or something?

oh i love venus and robecca evenif they are differen't than i was thinking. I actually like the bronze and blue color scheme robecca has, but it would have been nice to maybe have her hair another color other than black, like brown or blond. I like that they chose to make her bronze color because it is different than the standard silver robot but i think they could have added more features on her body to make her scream more robot.
Venus is cool. very differnt than what i thought she would look like. I like her nod to 80s style and love the pink and green color scheme.
