So this was a commission for someone off the board, visitors can't see pics , please register or loginTail and horns where sculpted out of apoxie sculpt. Tail and Mane rehaired in custom dyed job. The tail was fun as I tried to make it look normal, no big bulge at the end. Took many layers of hair/ thread and clay to do it. I like how it turned out. Painted in acrylics and each spot I did in three different shades to add the depth. Enjoy,

Purrfect Love started out as a G1 Brush and Grow. She was airbrushed in 3 different lace patterns with each pattern in a different shade. Her kitty friend was made with Apoxie sculpt and has been flocked in white/orange and accented with pink gems. Her collar was also sculpted out of apoxie with detailed buckle and gems. Rehaired in virgin snow, a dark pink and custom gradation . That's amazing! How long did she take you to paint?!
Paint was was about 3 weeks with other commissions going on at the same time. She took longer to rehair then to paint.

Ok so I haven't quite figured out the mulptiple qouting yet on the forum so here be my reply to many....
Thank you for all the wonderful comments, I had a bast doing all the detail painting, nothing like freedom of the brush and letting it fly... I still would like to improve on my detailing as it not as crisp as I would like.
As for the hair I was trying to make it look like a wave,, and with that much hair blending is acutally much easier then on a smaller pony. She was sold for $100 and I have already another in the process of a jungle scene (sorry she be a commission)... But if any one is interested I just got my hands on a G4 Styling Pinky Pie....

So to start off this girl was a challenge as thatg33kgirl wanted pink, frilly, super girly, pastel colors of love!! Basically every thing I dislike.. however she did say she loved sculpted and well I have had this Piccolo that I tried to turn into bubbles sitting pose over 8 months ago that just was not going any where. Well I thought that would be perfect for this. So Dainty Sugar was born. Her whole dress is sculpted out of Apoxie sculpt with gemstones set in along her lacing of the back and in the ribbons on her cuffs. Her coker is gems also with a silver buckle in the back. Painted various shades of pink and white. Added a beaded bracelet. and pink ribbons to her hair. Rehaired in DH Fairy ? pink. How about both, I like to do a two color blend in my eyes, usaully darker in the back to lighter in the front. Or green, it would stand out more.

Ok so I can;t remember if I ever posted this girl on the old site it took five months to finish. Well I FINALLY finished rehairing her a couple days ago and so now she is officially done...... Ocean Treasure has been on of my largest under takings. I could take a ton of photos and you would still fine new things on her. There is over 30 fish and sea creatures painted in this ocean scene that is over the entire body. To start off the bait was a Styling G3 Rarity. She was airbrushed in 4 gradient shades of blue. An octopus, eel , crab, starfish and sting ray where sculpted out of apoxie sculpt. Painted details included sunken ship, shark, lion fish, grouper, butterfly fish, sea horses, sunken treasure, geek urn, jewelry, starfishes, sea urchins, coral, sea turtles and other fish. All has been sealed with modge podge. Treasure, coins and horn have all a micro glitter on it to give it a shine. She wsa rehaired with 5 hanks of Starlight, white witch, mermaid, atomic turquise, and Pacific Ocean.. So anyways she is SOLD already but I 'm thinking of doing another one that is a Safari or jungle......... Here is my first and only, have more idea and baits but finding time..... This is Ocean Treasure and she took 5 months for me to finish. Just finished her a couple days ago, 5 hanks of hair takes FOREVER! She is a 360 degree pony. there is something going on everywhere on her. Some of her sea creature buddies are sculpted.
