Oops.  I think G3 had some of the prettiest ponies.  I love their eyes. But I didn't care for the poses the pegasis had.  G4 is awfully cute and I love them but they don't look much like the show or ponies to me unless you count blind bags.   I liked the gems in G2 eyes.  But over all, I think G1 had the best variety in poses, colors and box art.  I'm sticking with G1.

I kinda have to agree that non-pony fans aren't going to get it.  To them, it's all the same and it looks kinda mean to make fun of cartoons meant for small children.

I think just saying that the newer cartoon appeals to a broader audience would have been enough.

My love for MLP originated with Midnight Castle.  I also likes escape from Catrina.  After that I kinda lost track of the cartoons but my love for the toys lived on.  I was thrilled to see Generation 2 toys just because ponies had been gone for so long, I thought that era was completely over.  I bought 3 of them. I later thought G3 had some of the best looking toys and couldn't resist getting a few.  I kinda lost track of MLP for a few years after that.

It was a friend that convinced me to watch FiM.  Loved it!  I didn't know if I wanted anymore toys but eventually caved.  As brushable toys, I think Twilight Sparkle and Sunny Rays are my favorite.

Endocat, that puppy is adorable!


So I have a few of the minis.  My first one I found run over in a parking lot and felt so sorry for him.  He was completely flat but fluffed up nicely and I carried him around in my purse for months.  I still sometimes drop him in there for luck. 

Eventually I bought him some friends.

I tend to admire what I have and try to be happy with it.  Usually when I want something new, I've spent a long time thinking about it and coming to the conclusion that I really want it.  But despite that, my collections still grow.  I guess I just enjoy collecting stuff and there is no getting around it. :P

I was jealous of other kids' collections when I was a kid.  Haha.  But these days I almost feel guilty wanting any toys at all. 

I did feel for a mom the other day who was obviously into FiM and trying to convince her young son to pick out some ponies.  He was enthusiastic about talking about them, but didn't really want one.  I just kept thinking, "get one for yourself".  Even he suggested she get one. Haha.

I wasn't into brand name toys and never knew how to answer, "what do you want for Christmas"?  I liked Breyer but didn't know what they were called.  I liked plushies but nothing in particular.  I never knew what I wanted until I saw Midnight Castle.  It changed me forever.  :P    The other mlp cartoons didn't have quite the same impact but I loved the toys.

I actually didn't think I would like FiM at all, but Fluttershy won me over.
