...and while I was googeling that I remembered that LPS toys were too so much prettier when I was a kid (I had the pearl white filly with pink hair and I can faintly recall some other lps toys too now that I think of it)...  I wonder what else I have forgotten in the past 15 years...

My husband is a bigger collector than I am. While I took a 10 year "break" between childhood collecting and collecting now, he never stopped collecting comic books and action figures. I introduced him to how ebay works, and we both went nuts 
He collects comics, everything Spawn, The Simpsons, Star Wars, some sports and army figures, lots of other comic superhero and movie figures, some original comic art, and now he's gotten into the fancy-shmancy high-end statues.

My husband doesn't collect but he feeds mine and he won't let me get rid of anything. If I pick something out I really like, he wants to know why the others get left behind and insists I get those too. If he really wants a toy, he buys it for me. It's so weird but I love him. Haha.

I've wanted her ever since I saw her listed on those little fliers they include with ponies in the 80s. I tended to favor ponies with animals/flowers/weather/celestial related cutie marks. Plus, she's green! That was a bit rare at the time. But I didn't know that so many other people wanted her until now.

I like G1 and G2 but I guess G1 has more varity but I cant choose! 
I know! It's a little like trying to pick your favorite pony out of your entire collection. There is just something to like about each of them and I wouldn't want anything to happen to any of them.
