All 6 were prototyped this way and I want to say it was almost a year ago that I saw them. It would be the first time I've seen a g4 line released so much later after its reveal. I have a feeling the tinsel ponies we are seeing packaged now are the sparkly ponies replacement (but I hope I'm wrong)

I've seen images of the mane 6 as glittery translucent brushable ponies awhile back and I was really excited. I really hope we see these as real releases in store. I'm not crazy about the upcoming tinsel haired ponies. I'd rather they do something different with their bodies than just adding tinsel to their hair (which has been done before). I'm not willing to buy doubles of the mane 6 i already own with just tinsel hair added but I'd do it for sparkly bodies!!

I agree, while Lyra and Trixie are really awesome! The other two releases (Cherry Berry and Sunny Rays) seem pretty basic (although still pretty). I too would like to see more rainbow manes and interesting colour combinations. I am looking forward to the release of the brushable ploomette! Great colours!

This is great news! I am so excited! Did you find it at a regular toysrus or did you get it at an express? I only ask because only the express had the Zecora exclusive and none of the full shops which I thought was odd. Thanks so much for letting us know!!!

Yay, my local Walmart doesn't have them in yet, but I guess it means they will soon!! I would love to have an open box lyra and sunny rays.  Now we just need the favorites set haha

I'm so glad that you could find them! Hopefully they will stock Trixie soon! Which shop did you find them in? I used to live in Halifax when I went to NSCAD.

I live in Canada and I NEVER saw her in stores from the get go. I ordered mine on amazon for 6 dollars about a year ago along with Cheerilee.

I am happy that this current wave is giving us 4 new brushables (the traveling ponies only gave us two). Hasbro has also given us the nightmare moon pack and Zecora (as hard as they are to find). A few waves ago we got 4 to 5 new ponies per wave as well. Things have slowed down recently, hopefully to assess the market. Let's hope things pick up in the next few waves, maybe things are being kept secret

I really want a Waterfire pony!!! I love all the ones with blue or green bodies. I also love minty! I'm gonna see what kind of g3 ponies I can find on here thanks guys. I really hope they make more brushables too! The next wave (from Crystal Empire) have new packaging from what I remember seeing. I only saw one original character leaked (Ploomette I think?) I also remember seeing sparkly translucent brushables which still have had no release date. Can we also get that Minty that never came to life so long ago?! Haha.
