Well this can at least partially happen by clicking on "Have one to sell? sell it yourself" on the similar listing, however the only thing it auto copies to your listing is the listing title and listing category(example...Toys & Hobbies>TV, Movie & Character Toys>My Little Pony>Pre-1990) the pictures and description are completely blank and you have to add your own. To get a completely duplicated listing the seller would have to download that other sellers pictures to upload them self and they would have to copy and paste the description from the other listing. However in this case from what I can tell I think the seller is in fact selling a few ponies she bought from others and is using the sellers info since it is the actual/same pony, at least that is the case on 2 of them for sure. Of course it is completely wrong, against policy and not ok to do but maybe they don't think it is since they are reselling the ponies they bought...who knows what the deal is really

I would ask her to wait a little longer if she can because if a package is lost or misrouted it can take a while to get it re-routed. I had that happen once and it took 2 1/2 weeks to get it turned around and delivered to the buyer. Also you could let her know that if it is truly lost you can figure out a fair outcome at that point. I am pretty sure I know your buyer just by seeing the feedback, she is a great girl and I don't think she would ever try to scam anyone. She has bought several of ponies from me and I have never had an issue ;) either way I hope it can get resolved soon for you :)

Oooo I know this seller, she has 2 ebay id's, one that she will buy people's pony items with and the other she uses to list the items...she sent me a really lowball offer on my MLP bedspread and I regretfully took it because it had a stain and I wanted to give someone a really fair deal on it since it is flawed...so she flipped it and sold it for $10 more and she charged $8 more for shipping than I charged her! Yikes! I feel bad for the person she sold it to, that is an excessively huge shipping profit :( It didnt really upset me that she had flipped it, I was just thinking...well that pretty much sucks for me :( Here is the link to her other ebay id so you can be aware of both ;) ps. notice she has a complaint on this other user id's feedback for cigarette smoke smell also.....

I probably would have never put the 2 together but I get an email from eBay when there is any new MLP bedding item listed and I saw her listing and thought yay!! Maybe it is in EUC so I can replace/upgrade the one I sold and I about fell off my chair when I saw that purple stain on it lol

That is why I wanted to share this situation with fellow pony people :) To get advice and to also make people aware of what this buyer/seller is capable of. It is a really unfortunate situation and normally I would not even bat an eye at her reselling the pony, I know that while it is a bit cheeky and rude to list it immediately I am a very understanding and forgiving person, she obviously spent money she didn't have and was trying to make it up. With that being said...being dishonest about it and trying to scam someone else to try and make up for your own overspending is wrong :( being rude and rubbing it in that person's face while trying to rip them off is not only horrible but UNFORGIVABLE...She really showed a lot about her character by doing that and I actually feel bad for her to a certain extent because it cant be easy to sleep at night knowing that your a lowlife and a liar....or at least I hope she feels some remorse lol. She has not yet responded to my return for a refund offer and it has been 2 days, of course I didn't expect her to return them because that was never her intention in the first place :(

How refreshing to hear! There is some good in the world and it is well worth it to hang in there through the bad experiences to be able to have a fantastic one like this  :)

The eBay rep said that it happens a lot unfortunately :( it is a violation against policy so I am optimistic that eBay will get it handled

That is awesome :) it doesn't always feel good to have to do that, especially if the buyer is rude but at least you have a clear head knowing that you provided the best possible service you can ;)

If it were me personally I would refund the full amount including original shipping cost, it is sad because it is Royal Mail's fault but at the end of the day it is the sellers responsibility to ensure it arrives intact. When I ship a package, especially overseas I package it so overboard that they literally could play kickball with it and it won't get damaged. As much as I would like to think all my packages are handled with care especially when marked fragile reality is that they are not. You could also try to recoup the cost yourself through Royal Mail but I wouldn't involve the buyer in that part of it. Just promptly refund her and take the loss at this point :(  :(

Thank you so much lovesbabysquirmy  I really appreciate your help and adding her to the list, it is so wonderful that you take the time to make the list and keep it so nice and easy to follow so we can be aware of bad traders before becoming their next victim. Being added was well deserved on her part, Sadly on top of it all she is so rude and literally rubbing her deception in my face by including this in her reply message after I had confronted her about it she says "Hi, yes, I am currently selling my old buggy and pony set and getting a lot of buzz around it - thank you for noticing! Though I do not see how that is relevant to OUR transaction!" .....I can honestly say I have never had to deal with such a piece of work and I truly hope this is the last time she tries to scam someone :(

404
I am sorry to hear that, It is never fun when when that happens, it can be so disappointing :( You handled it 100% correct though, it is always good to try work out a fair resolution instead of just letting it go completely and feeling angry about it or going to the other extreme of leaving bad feedback ;)

Thank you for making me smile and laugh for the first time in a few days MiRaja LOL! If it wasn't for my fellow pony lovers cheering me up and giving me wonderful advice I would be in far worse shape, thank goodness my 4yr old is such a happy funny kiddo because he is helping to take my mind off it as well ;) And yes the nerve of some people is UNBELIEVABLE, it blows my mind!  they absolutely should be kicked out and have their ponies taken away...just for being a crappy humans in general!
