Pony Corral / Re: Anyone else forget what they have?
« on: May 27, 2012, 03:19:18 PM »
I haven't had this problem yet. I mainly collect G1 and have no problem remembering if I have on of those or not, every pony gets treated with love as soon as they come home with me ^^. G3's would be a problem, but I have only two and don't plan on getting any more so no issue there thankfully :).

I think it's closer to 100 ponies now ^^, I have made up for the shortage of ponies in my childhood years. That's probably one reason why I feel a strong need to have loads of them now :) . I don't feel that it hurt me not having loads of toys, but it's nice to be able to get ponies now that I wanted then.

I'm super jelaous :O I had two ponies when I was little and loved them very much. I bought myself two more when I was 10 and those are at least in perfect condition. But that many would have been heaven, I was crazy about horses, but my mum was poor and couldn't afford that many toys.

Ah, I'm glad it's easy to find ^^. I need to treat all yellowed things around now as we finally have nice sunny weather here :).

Thank's guys ^^, I will definetly try. It's damaged already with that nasty pink melted dent in the middle, and it really is very yellow so I'm glad there is hope :). Looks like I'll have to use the bleaching hair creme option though, as it would damage the stickers if I soak it. Not that I have a jar that large anyway ^^.

Drool :D I want sparkly ponies ^^. But I hate anything being target exclusive :(. No target in this country, or any blind bag ponies for that matter (my town is so bad for ponies).

I have never used it and haven't got a clue where you can buy it. My partner might know where to find it, I'll have to ask.

How much is mixed with how much water?

Yellow is my big favourite, I have more yellow ponies than anything else ^^. I also love green, but only have one green pony :-O.

The toy shops in this town are terrible. They don't seem to think people like ponies because they skip lots of sets and singles waves, and if they are sold out of singles they don't restock.. Of course the sales go poorly when they don't even bother taking the new ponies in stock.. They have G3,5's rotting on the shelves still and don't take the hint and reduce the price of those severly.. But they are quite happy to take in lots of these truly ugly fakies and their horrible playsets.. Just a tad frustrated.. I have missed out on Flitterheart because they never took that wave in and I couldn't find her when I bought the rest of the wave in England. I guess I'll buy second hand later sometime. I'm on a pony diet anyway.

Pony Corral / Yellow waterfall clouds

I have a waterfall playset which is quite yellow on the clouds. Can anything be done to improve it? It also have a pink melted dent in it, but I don't think I can do anything about that, except maybe paint it so it doesn't show so well. The set was cheap and cheerful so I'm not unhappy, but it would be nice to make it look as good as possible  .

Pony Corral / Re: Collectors "rite of passage" horror stories!
« on: May 21, 2012, 01:53:03 PM »
I haven't got any really bad horror stories, but I have overspent on a few ponies. Also I have forgotten to ask about condition on a few ponies. Mostly they turned out to be ok, but I have a TE Bright Eyes that was not at all in a condition I could put up with. Managed to find a beautiful near mint one, but still haven't gotten around to selling my other one..

Pony Corral / Re: So what poses are taking over your collection?
« on: May 21, 2012, 01:42:17 PM »
My favourite pose is the Crumpet pose, even though I don't feel I have to complete every set, I do feel I need every pony in this pose ^^. I will have to do a count to see if I have more of this than the other ones  .

Pony Corral / Re: G1s smell like candy ! :D
« on: May 13, 2012, 12:19:29 PM »
I usually love the smell of my pony room, it is wonderful. But after I got pregnant I can hardly go into my pony room, the smell is so overpowering and makes me feel sick. I am just thankful this is temporary because I still love my ponies, I just can't be around them at the moment.. I can normally stand around for ages and smell my ponies though, my favourite smelling ponies are Mimic, Tiddleywinks and Little Flitter.
