Awwww that is the sweetest doggy in the world Bugle! People can be horrible. Even if you can't prove it, can't you call and file a complaint with the police? Animal abuse is a crime. There are several hunters here in Maine who shot dogs "by accident" this hunting season, claiming they looked like coyotes (one of these was a black lab and one a husky...). They are being charged to the full extent of the law. I will send some funds when I get home from work tonight.

Gardenia Glow - I looove dark colored ponies like Cheerilee, plus she's originally a G3 and I love when they bring G3's back and remake them into G4's. (Can't wait for Minty!) Lovestruck - I totally want more FiM background characters to be brushables. C'mon Hasbro! You know people will buy ponies if they see them on tv! Roseluck - She reminds me of Desert Rose, my fave "only released once and never heard from again" G3. Pepperdance - Best. Cutie Mark. Ever.

Hi! I'm new the swaps but I've always wanted to join one.  I read your other post and I'm confused by this line: "You *DO NOT* have to send ponies from your partner’s want list unless you want to/ are able to. (But I do encourage it, if you can!)" Does this mean my partner might send me any random mlp's in existence if I join this swap? What if my partner sends me a bunch of G2's or G1's and I only collect G3/G4's? Or what if I only collect unicorns and someone sends me earthies? I'm not saying my wish list is full of nirvanas and rares, because it's not, a lot of my wish list is cheap/common ponies. But there are some MLP's I just don't collect and wouldn't really be excited to open a package only to find ponies I can't put in my collection.

all this pink is getting to me I am honestly not a fan of pink and as a little girl I didn't like pink. now my collection is starting to look way too pink. I would be thrilled to see some purple ponies. also they shades of pink are all too close together sept for Cherilee. I hate to complain but when you look at all the other gens you never see THAT much pink. sorry for the rant, and I am glad they are just the 2 ponies my wallet is much happy.
I agree but as someone whose collection is primarily G3's, I can tell you Hasbro has been doing this since 2003. Pink/purple ponies very much outweigh all other colors, and there's barely any variety with the shades, with white coming in behind that (and usually white ones have pink/purple as the mane/tail color). Sigh. And then, in case you didn't get the hint, they put traintracks on the back of the card. OH HASBRO, YOU SO SUBTLE.

A bit off topic here but you know, this thread reminds me a lot of the anime fandom. There's some female anime fans that are happy to call themselves fangirls (meaning they are fans of Japanese anime, and they are female, and that is it). Others will take offense if you call them a fangirl because it implies you're crazy like some of those obsessive fans out there who are kinda scary...
I myself never minded the label until a close friend called me a 'fangirl' in the same tone of voice you would use for the scum you scrape off the bottom of your shoe. -.-
"Bad apples spoil the whole barrel" as the saying goes, eh?
