I've got Princess Skystar and one of the babies. I really like them and hope to get more as soon as the stores around here get more in stock. I've been experiencing a pony drought lately.

I actually like the term "cutie mark." I still use "symbol" when talking about G1 and G2.
I also really love the new seaponies and hippogriffs. I've been wanting G4 to have more variety in species and getting two new species was a big surprise. I just wish the hippogriffs had cutie marks. They are half-pony, aren't they?

Every toy show I've been to has been very different when it comes to ponies. Bigger shows with more vendors will likely have more stuff than a smaller show, but then again, I usually have better luck finding G1s at the smaller shows. I guess they're sort of like flea markets, as it just depends on who's selling what.

I saw them at Michaels several weeks ago and didn't buy them even though they were on sale. Looks like I need to go back!
My local Michaels also had wave 22(?) blind bags and some Squishy Pops that were also part of the sale, amongst some Pony craft kits and shirts.

I'll have to go with Truly in this case. I don't own any SS earth ponies, but if I was able to get any of them, Truly would be the one I'd go for first. I absolutely love white ponies with bright hair, and her symbol is one of my favorites.

Paradise! I've always admired her simple design and bright colors. Her bright red hair is my favorite thing about her.

I've been collecting for three and a half years now, and my obsession seems to have grown a lot in the past year, so much that I only ever spend my spending money on ponies instead of books and such. I'm constantly daydreaming about buying and finding ponies. I guess my love just grows stronger every day.

I'm desperate to fix poor Paradise up. Since she was apparently burned, I know I can't put her back out in the sun. Is there anything I could try to whiten her up again, or is sue too far gone?

I seem to have run into another complication. She's almost completely deadlocked now, but she was a tad bit yellow underneath all of that glue. I left her out to sunfade a while, and when I came back, she had turned an ugly brownish color. It's blotchy on her face and side. I thought it was the glue resides, but there's no glue left on her.

Thanks for the tips, everyone! You rock!
Sadly I tried most of these tips, and none of them helped. As I was trying to get her as clean as possible, her flocking began falling off in large chunks, so I decided it was best to go ahead and deflock her.

It's not weird at all! Personally, I absolutely freak out when I get new ponies, especially if I find them in the wild or they're one I've been looking for for a while.

Yesterday I was fortunate enough to find one of the ponies I was desperately looking for, but sadly she's not in the best shape. Most of her flocking, especially on her head, is very soft and plush, but on her side's she has some odd stains. Where the stains are, the flocking is very hard, as if it's been glued down. My guess is that something spilled on her. I was able to get some of it off, but the rest won't budge. A tiny speck of flocking came off when I was scrubbing her, not enough to be noticed easily, and the plastic underneath is nice and white, so the stain is only on the flocking. Is there any way to get rid of these stains without having to deflock her? I'd hate to deflock this pony who otherwise has nice flocking where there aren't any stains, especially since I had been searching for her for so long.

I rarely leave anything on my ponies for a long time to avoid dye leaking onto the pony, but occasionally I like to use LPS accessories as props/accessories for photoshoots of G4s. For other generations, I don't currently own anything large enough for them since all of my LPS toys were really small.

I just got back from a toy show, and boy were there a lot of ponies!!!! I got quite a few and was curious if I picked up anything special or rare
G1 So Soft Surprise - Very nice with factory curls, minimal flocking loss on ears and tips of hooves
G1 So Soft Paradise - Not very nice at the moment, has some odd hard stains in her flocking I'm working in removing, might have to deflock. Has factory curls and little flocking loss on wing tips
G1 Baby Starbow - Near mint, only has slight forelock trim that isn't noticeable. Body is still nice and white.
G1 Baby Soft Steps- Near Mint as well. Only flaw is faint pen stain that can be sunfaded away.
G1 Sundazzle pony Sunbeam- Near Mint, hair is still crimped. Only flaw is frizzy forelock, which I'm currently fixing.
G1 Sprinkles- Mint with pink comb, pink sponge brush, and her duck! All in really nice shape
G3 Flutter Butter- Mint
G3 Tropical Surprise- Mint
G4 Large Talking Princess Celestia- Mint, missing accessories. Still works beautifully.
