Pony Corral / Same ebay post-2 prices?
« on: July 23, 2013, 05:38:38 PM »
So, I've had a crappy day and decided pony shopping (or at least pony browsing!) would lighten it up. While cruising Ebay I saw this-
visitors can't see pics , please register or login

That has to be a mistake, right? Those are the exact same ponies, down to all the photos in each posting.  Should I message the seller (stacare), or does anyone know them?  Also, different prices?

An ebay puzzle to pass the time :)

Aloysius Snuffleupagus!  And Grover and the Count.  It was hard to pick- they are all such great characters  :iconclap:

Not doing so great- had a lot of life stuff crop up.  It's been educational, though- I suspected my eating habits weren't great but wasn't really keeping track until now- I definitely need to make a change.

I'm not sure about the contest.  I'm too new (and start a new job in August) so I don't feel confident offering to help.  This has been great but I could go either way- whatever is best for you, Crowning- life sometimes doesn't give you a lot of choice!

Thanks for both starting the challenge and letting us know what was going on; it can be hard to admit you can't necessarily finish something the way you want  :bigups:

Pony Corral / Re: List of ponies safe/unsafe to sunfade.

I've been carefully fading a very stained Gingerbread.  No signs of burning but it hasn't lightened her up a lot either.  Her pink hair was already white (although I kept it covered). I live in Oklahoma so our sun is pretty strong, but I checked on her everyday as I had heard she can burn, also.

Awesome find- she looks amazing!

Thanks everyone!  I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed   I will definitely try the baby oil treatment, hathorcat- thanks for the info.

Not sure about gel, since it so often has alcohol...maybe on some bait ponies.

You can open a case with the post office by calling the service line (800 ASK USPS).  If it was the P.O. rather than the eBay seller, this should help.  When I had supposedly received a delivery notice (but not really) and my P.O. was unconcerned, this is what I did.  They 'found' my package that day.  Not saying that they will necessarily find yours, but it might help.  It's hard not getting what you ordered, even if it isn't expensive.   :(

Pony Corral / Shiny Perfect Pony Hair? Spooooooooosh*!
« on: July 10, 2013, 07:55:57 PM »
Ok, who is this spoosh*, and why do all of her ebay ponies have perfect shiny hair, perfectly flat if it it's flat and perfectly curled if it's curled?  I must know!  :what:

In all seriousness, could you all share some more tips for great pony hair? Specifically dry hair.  I shampoo and condition, and have done the 'condition overnight in cling wrap' treatment, and boiling water for super frizz.  What else do you all do?  What's the final verdict on flat irons? Products you will or won't use?  Thanks!
