I'm "pony-broke" right now, so I can't afford this at the moment.
I just wanted to let you know that I absolutely adore your customs! You're a great inspiration! Do you also customize G4s by any chance and are they a bit cheaper or the same as your G3s? 3199
Pony Corral / Re: which pony would you take to a desert island and why« on: July 23, 2012, 10:58:03 AM »Sea ponies... I could call upon them to get me home Good one! I have no sea ponies, so I'd take one of my G3 Mintys. We'd have lots of fun exploring the island, then die of dehydration because we both have zero survival skills. But at least we'd die laughing. 3200

I can't resist surveys...
How old are you? 24 Name any and all generation of MLP you own/collect? G1, G3 (only Minty... big Minty fan!), G4. The largest part of my collection is made up of G1s, though. What are your favorite pony generations? -G1, because of nostalgia goggles and because the figures looked the best of all gens in my opinion -G4, because it's a great reboot, is very cute and stylish and has endearing characters and humor Least favorite? G3.5, because they look extremely distorted and creepy. Also the cartoon was dumbed down and kinda misogynistic... Why is MLP so special to you, why do you collect them? -Because they are cute -Because they remind me of my awesome childhood [slight edit for language - kaoskat] 3201

G3 Rainbow Dash is definitely the ancestor of both G4 Rainbow and Rarity.
Great piece of art! 3203
Pony Corral / Re: Underrated ponies that you love!« on: July 13, 2012, 04:43:17 PM »Do you have any ponies that you absolutely adore, but nobody else seems to? Maybe she reminds you of Ditzy Doo? Mhh, I don't know if they're underrated, but I'm a big fan of the Rainbow Curl Ponies and Sundae Best Ponies. I just love their themes and look. Ringlet and German Swirly Whirly also belong to my most favorite G1s ever 3204
Pony Corral / Re: Do you have a problem with people cutting pony hair?« on: July 11, 2012, 12:14:49 PM »A lot of you guys are going to hate me then. I cut off all the hair. Please donate the tails to me 3205

I adore the color combination 3206
Pony Corral / Re: Do you have a problem with people cutting pony hair?« on: July 11, 2012, 05:23:31 AM »I don't like it, but only when people are so...crazy about it, and how they have to have it "show accurate". I have already illustrated my thoughts on the matter That's your artwork?! I saw that picture floating around the interwebs a few days ago and laughed heartly at it! Yeah, getting the hair show-accurate is completely fine as long as people are not freaking out over it and making a total a** out of themselves. I think it's nice the G4s have that long, brushable mane. It allows everyone to style it the way they want to. But the tails... they should really make them a bit more bushy. I added a second tail to my Applejack because her original one looked really puny when styled show-accurately 3207
Wanted! / Re: Barbies« on: July 10, 2012, 10:05:20 AM »
I have lots and lots of Barbies I plan to sell or trade.
Some of the "highlights" include: -complete Pocahontas tent set with three dolls -Princess Jasmine -Shaving Ken (almost complete, only missing socks *g*) -Fairy Barbie (the glittery one that can produce bubbles, complete) -two horses and two ponies -complete horse barn -smaller stable -skateboarding Barbie with walking dog (complete) I have much more, also lots of loose clothing, but I'm not done taking photos yet. Two of the Disney Barbies can be already seen in my sale thread I'm pretty sure you'll find something in my lot 3208
Pony Corral / Re: Do you have a problem with people cutting pony hair?« on: July 10, 2012, 09:50:52 AM »
I would never do it myself, but I don't mind when other people do it.
Their pony, their problem If they think it's absolutely necessary to cut the mane of a rare pony I might exclaim "WTF!" because I'd rather preserve a rare collector's item than altering it (and lowering its worth). But then again... I dehaired two of my ponies beause I couldn't stand the original colors. I plan to rehair them and am probably a hypocrite 3209
Off Topic / Re: Fall of Cybertron due 29/8/12.... anyone else looking forward to this??« on: July 10, 2012, 08:23:30 AM »
Big TF fan here!
Sadly I'm far from being a game enthusiast, so I'm still busy with War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron can wait until I've unlocked the fembots But I'm super hyped for the new toys. I need to have at least four out of that line: Soundwave and the three insecticons. They've always been my big G1 favorites and I really dig their new designs! 3210

[off topic comment removed as per Admin warning ~ many thanks ~ hathorcat] On the subject: as someone who is very uneducated when it comes to G3/G3.5 I find those fakies to look incredible! If it wasn't for the different name and the missing Hasbro logo, I would have thought it was the real thing! |
