I don't have pictures of them, they're somewhere at my parent's house. I'll need to dig them up the next time I go there.

That is so true! Now that I really got into the LPS subject, I remember that we have the Shamu family playset, the Vet playset and the Walrus too at my parent's house. I'm so gonna start hunting these down, they are just too pretty to leave uncollected

Dawn, that is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you so much! ...and while I was googeling that I remembered that LPS toys were too so much prettier when I was a kid (I had the pearl white filly with pink hair and I can faintly recall some other lps toys too now that I think of it)... I wonder what else I have forgotten in the past 15 years...

OMG! I just remembered a couple of my favourite toys that I had as a child! They must be somewhere at my parent's house, but I don't know where and won't be able to go look for a while. A had a Shetland Pony and a Shire horse. So here are the "facts" I can recall: - 90's toys
- Fairly small in size (less than 15 cm tall)
- Hard Plastic with brushable hair and tail
- At least one of mine (The Shire most likely, I guess the shetland had black hair...) came with a water soluble dye for their hair
- Had a green card with purple edges with them
If someone would remember who they were, I would be most grateful!

The MLP & Friends cartoon has been around longer than I have, but I think that I would have loved the toys even if I hadn't seen it. I love the G1 cartoons too, of course, they were amongst my favourite cartoons when I was a child (and still!), but they weren't the kick to get me into the toys. My first ponies werent characters on the shows, or any of my childhood ponies for that matter!

Popped in a BR toys shop and spotted these! Discretely named as "Pony". I was a bit tempted by the SHS molds with whatchamacallit-eyes and fabric fairy wings, but managed to get over it and instead bought me a Pinkie Pie key chain and a G3 Lunchbox which were both on sale. Yay, good for me! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginForgive me for the poor mobile phone quality (my phone doesn't have a fancy camera, it only takes green-ish pictures... ) but please tell me what you think about these? I think the big headed babies look quite creepy....

Yup, it's just her legs. There are some smaller bite marks on her other legs that I would maybe want to cover up too if I decide to start playing with the clay, but that big wound is definitely the worst of it.

I thought that the baking would be a poor idea, thanks for confirming that. I can't leave her like this, though, she just deserves so much more... visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThanks for the boiling tip, I'd never heard of that before. Think I'll try it with a small bit of clay first to see what happens. Don't want to rush into ruining her for good...

I just got a baity little winger in the mail, my first one, cute as ever with her original wings! But when I got her in my hands I noticed these terrible bite marks on her legs, her front nds leg for example is torn half way trough... I thought that I could do a little fixing-up with polymer clay, but am a bit worried about how her wings will take the heat... Or is there an easy way to take them off for a while? They seem to be quite firmly attached...

Took me a week or so to get trough reading this thread, but it was well worth it! Great boxes everyone. What really surprised and amused me was people going gaga over some Kinder eggs, they're such an everyday item here. Gotta keep that in mind thinking all my swapping on swap-bot.

When I was younger I used to read a lot. Should force myself into reading again, because I DO enjoy reading, but these days my concentration is too poor to start one. It's been a few years since I last read one. Also, I never remember to return my loans into the library... I've funded them a lot these past few years... Could have bought some books myself for that money.
