He's lovely. He's an unusual shade of green for a pony - more vibrant and very Christmassy. His symbol is gorgeous - there's even a gingerbread man in the sleigh! Like the others, he also has copious amounts of mane to style and brush etc.

He sounds awesome!   I'm on a quest to get as many of the "Christmas" themed ponies as I can before next Christmas.

How is Dasher? I was thinking of picking him up.

• I found Paradise Estate in the trash once.  Not complete, but it did have a lot of accessories, at the time it was pretty high on eBay. I left it at my parent's house until I was driving down their way again... and my stepdad had thrown it away before I could get it.
• Baby Princess Sparkle in thrift stores (Savers) for less than $3 on two separate occasions
• Snuzzle, as a Spanish "Piggy Pony" for 50 cents at Goodwill. I sold her here about 10 years ago.
• A G1 Posey completely faded with white hair and white tulips that I just kind of found after a flea market had cleared up, and way paler than the average Posey due to sun damage, but when I dropped her in yellow dye as an experiment (something I would never have thought to do with a Posey) she turned breathtakingly beautiful. To this day she's one of my favorites in my collection.
• Finally, and most importantly, I found my very first part of my "adult collection" (my parents threw out all my ponies in 1987 to be jerks) filthy, in the bottom of the Toys for Tots barrel when I was volunteering to sort toys when I was 14.  The organizers let me keep her, and I still have her, she's sat on whatever desk I have had since 1995. Edit: FF Butterscotch

There are a lot of similarities between our bedrooms circa 1986.

The night stand, exactly the same one I had, and the three playsets were the three main I had as well.

Whizzer's the worst one.  Even as a kid I kind of gave the marketing department a side-eye on that one.

I like to think the person who named Pina Colada was a fan of Rupert Holmes, which is actually even worse than just enjoying a happy hour.

I am interested in the Twilight with the...Blossom tail? I'll PM you.

I personally treat my much-reduced-from-a-decade-ago collection like seasonal decorations (from 450 to about 100).  They're never out for more than 3 months at a time at the most, and they get gently cleaned and styled if necessary before they get put back into their tote (standing upright because I am soooo tired of wobbly or dented ponies, particularly in the Glory pose).  Then I put them in the closet; depending on the closet I may also throw a blanket over it like my closet now which has a window, until next year.

It helps me appreciate them more because I get excited to pull them out of storage every few months.

I do keep an Applejack and a Butterscotch on display all the time, though.  But they're already so trashed and are just sentimental.

Pony Corral / Re: The Iffy Discussions - Is the future of MLP "tainted"?
« on: February 21, 2018, 01:11:12 PM »
It's tainted for approximately 3-6 years like it is during every transition since the brand's inception.  I wouldn't worry about it, the lulls are when you can mostly fill out your collection.

G1 - wingers and flutters
• Summerwing Glow - hair has to be pink, very pink - alternately a pony in really good condition but nobody will remind me rehairing her because her hair is awful
• Windy Wing Flurry - hair has to be completely faded - alternately a pony in really good condition but nobody will remind me rehairing her because her hair is awful
• Rosedust

G1 - boys
• Tex
• Baby Leaper
• Salty
• Clipper
• Baby Ribbs
• Mountain Boy Thundercloud
• Daddy Apple Delight
• Baby Apple Delight
• Baby Countdown

G1 others
• Birthflower December Holly, prefer her as nice as possible.  - alternately a pony in really good condition but nobody will remind me rehairing her because her hair is awful
• Merry Treats

G3
• Abra-Ca-Dabra

Fakies
Looking for those "flutter" style fakies from 10 years ago.  Especially the orange one with darker orange hair. Less interested in the ones that look like they're wearing "fancy pants".

Non Pony toys

• Keypers Sheldon.  Has to be as complete as possible though (although I can forgo the keyfinder, the key and the hat 100% have to be there), and the shell can't be yellowed.
• Kenner Tropigals See Wees, Oceanna, Baby Seabrina, Seasar Cat
• Liddle Kiddle Luscious Lime Kola, with bottle
• Cragston Socket to me green haired Kiddle Clone with lightbulb pin
• Mattel Guardian Goddess outfits: Ice Empress, Blazing Fire, Soaring Eagle
• She-Ra/Princess of Power Flutterina
• Moon Dreamers Whimzee, Bitsy + Roary, Blinky (Don't need Ursa)  Have to be complete.

Baits
I'm looking for a few bait ponies to make some specific customs with, mostly copies of nirvanas or birthflower alternates that I can't afford for my own collection.  I'd prefer the bodies to be in pretty good shape with as few marks as possible.  I do not need the hair at all so it can be gone, or just a straight disaster. Willing to pay higher than the average bait price for the right ponies.

So if you have any of the following ponies up for grabs, in a less than desirable collectable condition, let me know!

• Lemon Drop with as faded as possible symbols. Faded to white, not faded as in gone.
• Sweetberry Strawberry Surprise as faded towards the orange spectrum as possible.  There was a fakie pony released in this pose that was almost Skyflier's color which would be acceptable here as well
• Peek-a-boo Sweet Stuff as faded towards the orange spectrum as possible.

Less specific:
• Baby Apple Delight - just need the body here.
• Birthflower Cosmos - Symbols have to be nice (you can probably see where this is going, alternate birthflower!)
• Birthflower Morning Glory - Symbols have to be nice
• Birthflower Poppy - Symbols have to be nice
• Windy - Rainbow, with nice body and symbols.  Hair can be trash
• Moonstone - Rainbow, with nice body and symbols.  Hair can be trash

So this is my first time on this forum in years   I'd sold off most of my collection at some point (although I do have a few Shelti classics around, still with their flowers in their hair)! So anyway I am a fool and after two hours of searching I realized I accidentally sold my peach Sweet Clover at some point in the last 6 years when I didn't mean to, and when I found my Tiny Bubbles she was looking worse for wear.

So I am looking for both.  I'd like them to be in pretty good condition, no major flaws or huge spots (although I don't care about bottom of the hoof issues).  Sweet Clover's hair should be...well, you should be able to at least tell it was once pink, and she has to be the lighter peach version.

I'm also looking for a Blossom tail...or comparably colored pony's tail.  Or just a really crappy Blossom that happens to have a nice tail I can hijack.

Thanks!
