Some lovely stuff here - Rhini - your film stuff has something of an other worldly feel.

Must add some of mine, if I ever get around to it!

I have one I picked up in a charity shop, that's in my collection because of my childhood memories - the *actual* one that my memories stem from still lives at home with my parents. My dad brought it back from Sweden when he went there in about 1969 (I forget exactly when, but that rings bells). I *will* be taking possession of it when the inevitable happens (hopefully I'll not have it for a good many decades yet), however for now it lives in their lounge. I *adored* it as a child, and I absolutely still love it - totally adore Dala horses.

I'd be interested if I have time when it starts :) I'm sure I probably will though :) I think it's a fab idea! :D

Thanks all - the last nearly 10 years of my life has been totally devoted to revolving around these little critters. Been breeding for 7 years this year, and wouldn't have it any other way - this line is my pride and joy <3 I've worked so hard to get it where it is - and it's not perfect by any stretch, but for me, I've never met a line with a temperament I prefer - I've got them *exactly* where I want them temperament wise, even if not yet in colour, type and robustness.

And yes - I was involved in Petz :) Been playing that for logner than I've owned rats! XD I was 13 when I first got Dogz 1 ;) Never looked back with that either - though I do take protracted breaks from time to time. Must start again soon, been a couple of months.

OK - so it took us a while to get anything done this year-  but in June we had a litter from the very lovely Bongo Fury Frozen Fish and Bongo Fury Dwayne Hoover. Turns out some are satin, which is interesting (Dwayne is satin). Anyway... here they are! :D We also have another litter born yesterday, but will save that for another thread when they're not just jellybeans XD

Firstly, the Russian Blues :)

OK... so here's the story behind Sweet Masquerations...

Once upon a time there was a handsome young colt called Sweet Celebrations. He was a lovely lad, kind, friendly and with dashing good looks...

He was quite the lad about campus, and then he met the beautiful Masquerade. She was a charming young filly - absolutely beautiful in every way... and they made a lovely teen couple...

But time moves on of course... and they ended up going their separate ways, not forgetting about each other, but no longer in touch. Then Sweet Celebrations met his soulmate... he married her, and loved her mroe than he thought possible.

In time they had a beautiful baby boy, who was the image of them both. He was a darling little fellow...

But daddy wanted a girl too... more than anything... try as they might, however, it seemed that they could only have their little boy :( the sadness was almost too much to bear.

He went out one day... for a walk, to cool off after an argument with Mummy SC, things weren't great between them, with the stress they were under... :( and who should he run into but Masquerade!

They were both gobsmacked, and ran to hug each other...

Daddy SC went away with Masquerade, to relive old times ;)

Full of remorse, he went back to Mummy SC, and planned to keep his meeting with Masquerade a secret, Mummy would only be hurt by the truth, and there was nothing in it - it was a one off, to relieve some of his stress... after all - it was mummy he loved, more than anything, and it worried him to think he'd hurt her :(

Time went by, and Daddy forgot about Masquerade again... until one day, she showed up in his field...

She had some news for him... she introduced him to his daughter - Sweet Masquerations...

He was bowled over by a rush of worry, panic and love for his daughter too... but not quite as bowled over, shocked and upset as Mummy SC... she rushed at Masquerade, attacking her wildly in her rage...

Daddy ran between them to break them up, appalled that they should fight over him. He turned to Masquerade and said that he would do what was needed for his daughter, and that he wanted to be with her as oftn as possible, but that he was loyal to his lovely wife, and that was the end of the matter.

Masquerade understood and went away, with her daughter, leaving the SC family to rebuild their lives...

As they walked away, Baby Brother SC shouted out to Sweet Masquerations to come over and play whenever she liked - he thought it was kind of cool to have a little sister!

Sorry it's so long! Got bored, stuck indoors being ill!

Customs / Private Stork Swap - for Saja - Baby Waving Palm
« on: July 13, 2013, 03:24:49 AM »
OK - so one of Saja's pairs were Baby Palm Tree and Waverunner :) I thought that made for a rather neat idea - so I came up with Baby Waving Palm ;) She's now in her new home, so I can post photos - though if Saja has better ones, I'd love to see them! :D

She has ultra long acrylic hair - which I thought looked a little like seaweed!

And she shimmers due to iridescent medium :D

Customs / G3 Ice-skating pony - how to disassemble?
« on: July 11, 2013, 11:46:13 PM »
OK - I have a G3 ice skating pony here, and I want to make a mermaid pony out of it. I'd done some of the work so far, but I can't work out how to fix the head-  I want to take the hair out and take out the mechanism, but having terrible trouble :/ Any thoughts?
