Oh my gosh! I had some of these~~ I loved them.  How neat that you have some in the boxes  :lovey:

I posted my collection of those dolls way back on page two. That Musical Princess Sleeping Beauty was my first ever doll as a child. They are gorgeous aren't they?

My collection has expanded since then!

I bought a medium Vampula, yesterday! I actually gasped when I saw the display in TRU as I wasn't sure when they'd make it to Australia. There's still a few more I want - I think I like the medium sized ones better! But I definitely want a few of the large ones.

Does anyone know if Miss Clover will be found in stores in Australia? I know she's a mail order exclusive in the UK (and on shelves in the US).

I wouldn't mind knowing that as well :)

I just found out that Clover will be in stores like in the USA. I checked my TRU last week and they didn't have any so I'll have to check again.

I think there is a disney doll collectors guide book (saw it on amazon) but I'm not sure if it has absolutely everything.

The flickr above is very useful but it doesn't have everything either unfortunately.

The Dollhouse / Cat BJD from Evestudio - amazing!
« on: September 05, 2013, 06:43:21 AM »
I stumbled across these BJD's on deviantart and instantly fell in love! You can buy one from $330 up I think. The order form gives you all sorts of options for shape, colour and size. So cool!

Thought I'd add a picture of the types of dolls I collect......

I just went with pink because that was the most common colour across all my collections.

Oh boy......Vintage barbie, collector barbies, Mattel disney dolls (1990's barbie sized and the smaller musical princess dolls), non-disney movie themed dolls (Anastasia, Swan Princess etc.), Tea bunnies, Krystal Princess, Fairies of Cottingley Glen (from Fairy Tale), Tyco Liddle Kiddles....

I think that's it? Very tempted to get into Lady Lovely Locks and Rose Petal Place :D

My biggest surprise was finding out that my childhood g2's were actually real mlp's. I always thought they weren't the real thing because of their different body shape! It was something that always bothered me as a child, I liked the real thing not cheap copies! (no offense meant to any fakie collectors - I love fakies now!)

I'd love to see a Fizzy with show-accurate hair. The red and the hot pink are quite close in colour but I think it'd look great!

Yummy, all of them! I'm so glad NoDivision posted- that pink chocolate pony always makes me hungry (and envious of whoever owns her!)

I have this girlie I made for a swap:

Hello!

I've ended up with a few doubles in my collection of musical/dancing/bubble/perfume princess dolls from the mid 90's. Is anyone interested in them? I don't want much for them - I'd just like them to go to a good home. Postage would be from Australia.

Perfume princess Snow White is ok - the bodice on her gown is a little faded
Perfume princess Cinderella is good
Dancing princess Sleeping Beauty is near mint and comes with her stand that still plays music and twirls her around when rolled across a bench top.

Feel free to pm me if interested!

There are some g1's occasionally here in the antique shops (I'm in Newcastle) but only the really common ones. I always end up buying online but it would be nice to find some here for a change!
