Hello everyone,

I'd like to get some advice on how to deal with this situation. I recently sold some of my rarer ponies to three people in total. The packages were all sent on the 20th of March and two of them have arrived (to Germany and Austria) but one, to the UK, has not arrived (yet?). I sent the packages quite some time after payment (the buyers knew that), and I didn't realise something might go wrong and the buyers can only wait a certain time for the package to arrive because if the package doesn't arrive they want to be able to get their money back. So, for the person whose package has not arrived yet (the most expensive package of the three) their PayPail waiting time is almost over. She has said she will wait till the last day to give them a chance to arrive, but if they haven't arrived by them PayPayl will just take the money from my bank acount, right? While I have absolutely sent them and sold them because I'm really in need of money... So what should we do? How are these kind of issues normally dealt with?

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Pony Corral / Re: Dutch auction site has giant store display pony!
« on: April 01, 2013, 03:55:13 PM »
Ohh this one was indeed in a store (multiple stores I suppose) here in the Netherlands! I asked if I could buy it when it wasn't needed anymore and they said they didn't know. They wrote down my Phone number but I never heard back. Haha I don't have space for the thing anyways :) The cutie mark was the My Little Pony logo I believe...

Hey everyone,

Thanks for the price checks! :) Because you said Peachy was hard to price without a pic, here is a link with pics of her http://s746.beta.photobucket.com/user/Lottie1988/library/Ponies%20for%20sale
Snuzzledrop is also pictured there (because I have someone interested in both of them), if you think her price should be different from what was mentioned please let me know!

PrincessLocket, someone sent me a PM about the same two ponies and that was earlier than your reply, I'm sorry!

Can I have a price check on the following ponies that I'd like to sell? :)

Dutch:
Schoolbag baby - has a pinprick in her left side, not in symbol. Otherwise very good.
Flower baby - One eye is not very neat, seems factory. Otherwise very good.
Rabbit Baby - Hair kind of frizzy, otherwise very good.
Singalong - Hair faded and very frizzy, head turns, three tiny grey spots on body. Rest is good.
Heart - Hair kind of frizzy, mane are cut but still quite long, neckline looks gluey on right side.
Diary - Dent in right side, not on symbol, lots of glue on neckline only on right side, hair slightly frizzy otherwise good.

French:
Starshine - First few plugs of mane missing, mane slightly cut, two pink dots on head, looks a little dirty but otherwise good.

Macau:
Snuzzledrop - Bit of bleeding around drops, otherwise great!

Greek:
Peachy - Hearts NOT faded/bleeded but some are scratched. Both mane and tail cut quite rigourously. Otherwise lovely.

Italy:
AB eyes Bluebelle - drop of glue on neckline, minor smudging to symbols, hair a bit dry. Overall great!
AB eyes Minty - Minor wear to symbols, tiny black dot on left side, mane cut but not extreme. Overall good!
Sunlight: Symbol NOT faded, still silver w/ bronze. Rattles but looks awesome.
Flutterbye: Rattles, minor scratching to left eye. Looks great!

I'd love to hear what these should go for :)

Pony Corral / Taking G3 Loop-de-La / Glitter Glide's shoes off?

Can it be done with a good looking result, taking the glued on (?) shoes/skates off of G3 Loop-de-La and Glitter Glide? Anyone tried?

Pony Corral / Pony shopping in New York?
« on: September 24, 2012, 12:50:10 PM »
I'm going to New York next month! Excited!! I'll be in a hotel close to Madison Square Garden.
What are good places to shop for ponies? (not very interested in G4)
- I often see brag posts about ponies found at thrift shops, I'm interested to know names of good thrift shops to look for ponies.
- Is there by any chance a special store that sells vintage toys where I might find G1's?
- Is there a huge toystore that's really cool to visit?
- I'm intereseted in fakies too. Can I find them in the regular toystores? Or should I look somewhere else for them?

Thank you!

I can't see the pic of the ponies your keeping. I wonder how many?  EDIT: Wow I see now that your only keeping 3! Have fun with them!!

I recently made the 'same' choice. I had a collection of about 600 I think (G1&G3) and I've decided which I'm gonna keep: only about half of my collection :) Some ponies are just not 'special' to me, so I felt like I don't need to keep those. The G3's that I find the prettiest, I kept in their boxes to preserve them better but I realized I don't enjoy ponies when their just sitting in their boxes. So I deboxed them too :) (the ones I'm keeping). It was loads of fun! :D

Pony Corral / Pics of your self proclaimed MALE ponies? :)
« on: September 10, 2012, 06:58:35 AM »
Some ponies that Hasbro intended to be female just look male to me. Ponies who's hair has been cut sometimes look male to me to, but not always, some still look female even with super short hair. Who would like to post pics of their self proclaimed male ponies? So I mean, ponies that Hasbro intended to be female but you see as male :)
