Love these books and still have mine that I had as a kid. Love the illustrations. So colorful and pretty. I'd love to find some I don't have. Does anyone know an average going price I should expect to pay for these books?

Hi, I'm looking into DIYing some furniture for my bedroom and refinishing some furniture for other areas of my house. I was wondering if anyone else had their own projects to share? I'd love to see pics of what you've done or plan to do.
It seems I have somewhat expensive taste in some furniture and making it myself, with hubby's help, can greatly reduce the cost. I have plans, and some of the components, to make a wingback tufted headboard. I also want to make some simple midcentury modern nightstands that seem to sell for hundreds of dollars which I can probably make for less than $100 for 2 of them. And maybe I'll make an upholstered bench for the foot of the bed.
I have a cabinet I got for free that needs some revamping but once done will house all the little items my children have made at the local paint your own pottery place. I also have a nice simple girls desk/vanity that could use some help and a chair I plan to reupholster. And a large shelf unit that needs repainting for storage in my daughters room.
Seems like quite a lot once typed out, lol.
So, show me what you've done or tell me about what you plan to do. I want to feel inspired!

I'm in Washington state and never found anything that amazing. I got a decent G1 score once but that's it. I would love to find an Oakley. Great find!

G3 ones can be rehaired completely but I'm unsure of the G4. Don't they have molded manes? Maybe you cut cut off the tail and push the remainder inside the hole and then glue in a new tail?

I just buy a multi pack of sizes and use whatever I feel like will work best when I fold over a tail I usually use a small one in the fold of the tail and then a larger size around the tail itself to make sure it's big enough it can't be ripped through the tail hole.

I have the Gusty mug pictured above. Haven't used it yet but couldn't resist buying the set at Christmastime specifically for the mug. Love Gusty!
Also have quite a few of the plastic cups for my girls. They're quite cute too.
