I make cakes, cookies, cupcakes, chocolates etc. in my spare time. I picked buttercream because it's my favourite icing (fondant is pretty, and very trendy, but it doesn't taste good). I guess it kind of describes the stuff I make.

I was trying to come up with a business name at the time, but putting way too much though into it. In the end, I liked my name here, and decided to use it for business as well.

the Hatter looks rather feminine...i was thinking it was a girl
hahaha, my fiance said the same thing- he thought they were a lesbian couple or something. it's priced $9.99 at my targets, $9.97 at my walmarts

Thanks, dIGITS. lol. Can you tell I'm an Alice in Wonderland fan?
who isn't? hahaha- i love alice... so much that i'm still tempted by that Alice in Wonderland Barbie from a few years back (from before the movie- the release with the super-ruffled dress!)... and i HATE barbie...
I saw her, but didn't want her... She doesn't look Alice-y at all to me. I want the Tonner White Queen and the Dynamite Girls Alice though. ;___;
I've been trying to find out where they sell that AiW Lalaloopsy set though. Do you know? Are they just not widely available yet?
yeah- it's mostly her outfit... and the cheshire cat that draws me in. i just need to sew some alice-inspired outfits! I found the Alice lalaloopsy at Target- they should also be at wal-mart... i think they are just a bit harder to find since they are so new. i don't like the mad hatter, but alice and the cheshire cat are soo cute!

You're not alone. I really don't like the Sweet 1600 line so far aside from Cupid, but I feel like I should have Draculaura MIB at least. She sums up the whole 1600 line or something. I can't explain it. :/
agreed--- though i only want draculaura for her shoes. haha... needless to say i'm pretty much skipping 1600

The Birthday Massacre - Happy Birthday:)
omg i was SO close to seeing them... but my fiance and i drank too much during happy hour and couldn't find our way to the venue!!! hahahaha I'm currently listening to At The Drive-In... because in a enlightening moment i found that they were getting together again to play cochella festival... and in the most depressing next moment i found that it was too expensive... and sold out. so... i listen from my ipod and dream of good shows coming to this area of the country- but alas...

it was so much fun to read through these! i have several names at other forums and they all come about fairly randomly... but i think i tend to use dIGITS most often. sort of from a variety of reasons... 1) i like the word 2) i have a love-hate relationship with numbers-- my father is a mathematician and my mother was also a math major and i suck at everything dealing with numbers... yet... i have this strange affinity towards them... "Pi" is among my favourite movies 4) i used to sign my early online xangas with things like "musicmatchmath" "minusplusminusme" and one of my top 3 bands at the time was also "Your American Math"... oh and i also wrote this hilariously terrible rap about washing hands at the same time (during my first job) and the soap we used was "digits"...so dIGITS pretty much summed everything up. so.. i've been dIGITS in various places since about 16. <3 edit to add: fun fact-- at the mlptp forum i'm Three_to_one which was another number related screen name (though that one also dealt with the heavier issue of overly-excessive weight loss/near anorexia i was dealing with in my angsty teen years)

That was me and I really don't see anything wrong with what I did. I went to a bunch of Walmarts every day until I found Cupid. That was a lot of effort and gas money. When I bought my Cupid there was an unopened box of Cupids. I could have easily taken the whole box and put them on ebay and made a bunch of money, but I didn't want to be greedy (much to my mother's disapproval because we are struggling financially), so I bought two. One for me, and one that I planned to list and it would either 1. sell and help pay for the cost of my Cupid/the gas I used looking for her or 2. wouldn't sell and she would be part of my MIB collection.
this makes sense to me- that you are putting her at that price, if she sells she sells but otherwise you'd rather keep her. Sometimes i'll sell stuff at a higher price because i'm not willing to part with it for any less. i also agree that scalping is generally a bad idea and there's no way to stop it. There are people like you who have good personal reasons and then there are the majority... people who would have bought the whole box and worked on selling them on ebay. also- props to you for speaking up and telling your reasoning. <3 i've never paid more than retail price for a non-limited doll and don't see myself doing it in the future, but as long as there are people willing to pay the extra than there will be scalpers.
