Wanted! / Scribbles? Others....
« on: December 06, 2020, 05:56:59 PM »
I am on the hunt for a Scribbles to replace the one from my childhood collection. You can check my post for trades for Scribbles on the Trade forum, or we can talk about a sale. I'm really on the hunt, until I find this pony my "symbol" is a crouching tiger.  :work:

Okay so others I need that are hard to get and that I would trade for are:
Starglow
MO Star Hopper

Alright well the link above should show Golden Glow 2A, as Well as Golden Glow 2B, and Silver Glow. Please make note of which Golden Glow you are looking at in each picture so you don't make any mistakes, there are a lot of close-ups.

I'm hoping to trade any two for Scribbles (obviously you would choose the NM Golden Glow and either the other Golden Glow or Silver Glow). Maybe I could at least knock out more than half of her price.

I had Scribbles and Dabble in my childhood collection. They shouldn't be too hard to replace  :whoa:

Also looking for Starglow and Mail Order Star Hopper.

Pony Corral / Are the Soda Sippin' Ponies normal-sized?
« on: December 04, 2020, 07:58:23 PM »
I am looking up the Soda Sippin' Ponies online, but there are no photographs currently that show them next to other traditional mold ponies.I've never seen them in person (obviously). It looks to me like the Soda Sippin' Ponies are in the Tic-Tac-Toe pose, but a website said that the year they came out it was the coterminous Flower Fantasy Ponies that were the last ponies in the traditional molds.

Are the Soda Sippin' Ponies big like the Sweet Talkin' Ponies and the Secret Surprise Ponies, or are they just rainbow maned earth ponies with ice cream symbols and holes over their lips?

The glow in the dark  phosphorescent color of the plastic is imbedded in the structure of the plastic. It will continue to glow in the dark until the plastic degrades to the point where it is a different color, which will be centuries.

pony people are great, thanks everyone!

Well I guess its a North American pony (seller lived in Canada, not U.S.). The only RIT dye I've ever used that doesn't come off is blue.

is it a Variant? I really don't think its dyed, the color of the plastic is the same on this tiny part of the front hoof that is a little breakdowny/crumbly looking.

It's hooves say "Hong Kong" like a north American pony.

what is this thing?

Despite what it says on the internet (umm...except this statement, heh) variant Greek Starshine had glittery symbols (or at least this one did.)

She is brown, not cremello or cream. I'm almost sure its regrind...and what I used to call "oxidization" (yellowing) but maybe the latter always happens before or with the former, I'm not that experienced.

And an angle so you feel like your turning around in your hands even though it only shows an eye and a smile!

Listen I followed the instructions, I don't know where the pictures are, it was like seven pictures and took some labor.

https://www.deviantart.com/psisaac

The THIRD pony is Neraida. it's entire body is the color of cream mixed with coffee that is very old, so it is a very ash brown color, not cremello like in the pics (I learned to never trust variant Neraida photos!).

I think she was 80-120, but thats in mint condition, however pony prices are up now. Now that I look at the photos she is not that different from (hopefully) non reground/discoloured ones as they appear in sunlight in photos.

Please take the extra step to go to deviant art and look. I really tried to make the pictures work this time!

"psisaac is a black unicorn pony with teal, purple, and white hair, a sun theme, and twinkle eyes."

I love ESP and my real name is Isaac so i go by psisaac or psysaac sometimes.

twinkle eyes are my favorite, and so are unicorns. All those hair colors are my favorite colors, and if I had a super power it would be to glow at will. Its like the generator READ MY MIND! Except it didn't say whether the purple was fuschia or violet, and as a twinkle eye I feel cheated of a fourth hair color! no, no, I jest.

Pony Corral / Price Check on pale Windy and Quackers, link to pictures!
« on: November 14, 2020, 09:33:56 PM »
Well, I apparently had a deviant art page for the last nine years   So here is a link to the Quackers I posted about about a week ago (these are the pics that were not working), and the Windy (I thought it was white, but apparently that might be a myth?).

I donĀ“t think that it is that bad, they come with wings and combs!

What would those mint unis be worth without the wings and combs, including Golden Glow II?
