You are probably looking at the biggest JP/Dino fan on this thread lol ponies are out the window as far as I'm concerned.  So sad that I've gone off ponies but the JP dinos were the first toys I ever had as a child so I'm ecstatic about the movie - regardless of controversial opinions, in the end I'm just happy to have another JP movie...been waiting 14 years for this!  I cannot wait to see old Rexy from the original film, that will be incredible, I'm just a bit bummed that we won't see much animatronics throughout the film because that is what gave the dinos their charm.  Even so, cannot wait!

MLP Nirvana / PC: Greek Blue Glory proud pose (loose)
« on: March 06, 2015, 01:52:31 AM »
]I have a photo somewhere but she is in flawless condition, I'm wanting to sell, what would be a fair price? She also comes with original comb and ribbon which I will have to dig up;p

Right so here are pics, as you can see she is stunning, no faults whatsoever.  I've had here for a few years now and purchased her from someone on the arena (can't remember who) will likely be taking offers on her so perhaps someone could move this to the Nirvana sales for me? :)

NOTE: she is SOLD - recieved an offer I couldn't refuse.

I guess Barbie horses do count as a collection now, because I keep adding to the herd. I wish they were smaller though.
Also Jurassic Park dinosaurs, some Schleich figures that catch my eye. I also still have all our old Masters of the Universe in storage, how I would love to put those on display!

ooooh could I see pics of your dinos? ;p

I actually haven't collected anything MLP in aaaages :( gone off them a bit.  My side collections are: Lion king plushies, Dragonball Z figuarts figures, Pokemon, Puppy Surprise, Folkmanis puppets and Jurassic Park toys.  I also collect the odd fossil and anything animal related.  Phew I think that's it.  Lets just say, I have an expensive closet ;p

hard to say, I'm into collecting vintage puppy surprise at the moment.  Tt depends who's looking but I would say anywhere from $30-$50; the puppies and kittens tend go for round $10 by themselves but it also depends on which sets as some can fetch higher prices.

Pretty sure that wolf, isn't one now.  He's similar to ones they have made and quite good quality, but not AS good.

And for good measure, here is a video of my owl in use
http://youtu.be/8Sz0D_bk82s

He's a gem.

The others I have are the big version of this guy:  http://www.folkmanis.com/Prod-67-1-58-1/dragon-red-small.htm

And this one: http://www.amazon.ca/Folkmanis-2359-Griffin-Puppet/dp/B0007QO468

The griffin is my favourite of all.  He's just so nice.  I think I'd also like to get the hermit crab, a western style dragon, the peacock and a red panda.  But they are all so nice.

Like I said before, I don't collect Folkmanis particularly, I just sort of buy puppets when I have the money and I'm out and I see one I like.  But usually when those things happen, its a folkmanis one.

thank you sooo much! That's the owl I'm wanting to buy, do you think he's worth the money?  I know his little eyes blink which is pretty awesome XD

I actually do.  Not them specifically and not in the 'gotta catch them all' way I collect ponies, but I do have a few. I have a butterfly finger puppet, one of the owls, the red Chinese dragon, a griffin and a husky I think is one but I'm not 100% on.  I'll probably buy more in the future too, bit hey are kind of expensive. They are super amazing though.

Can't really share pics of the dragon or griffin (they're in Australia and I'm in Anerica) but I can take pics of the others tomorrow.

oh yes please would love to see them, especially you owl...I just purchased the African elephant ;p

no an american thing lol very expensive to ship to NZ but I will most likely be importing a few because although expensive, if treated well will last a lifetime :)

I got a chameleon puppet back in 1997 and now that I'm a qualified early childhood teacher I've gotten into using puppets again.  I'll be getting a retired woolly mammoth puppet in the post soon but other than that I have no others. Very keen on some of the owls they have released.  Does anyone here have Folkmanis puppets, pics etc?  Would love to see :)

Never really thought much of Spinosaurus..people forget that he was mainly a fish eater and not that bad ass at all really lol

How can you say that THIS is not bad-ass?!

Huge dinosaur fan over here, and apart from all of the famous Jurassic Park dinos, Allosaurus has always been a favourite of mine because even though he was around in the Jurassic Period, if I was to compare him to T-Rex he was a more effective killing machine (what with a decent arm length) perhaps not as stong a jaw but still very powerful.  Never really thought much of Spinosaurus..people forget that he was mainly a fish eater and not that bad ass at all really lol
