Beldarna: What a awesome story. I understand that you pay attention to your dreams.

It's interesting to read everyones points. I'm pretty sure it was my subconscious that whispered in my ear, though I'm not sure if the subconscious got it right

I too have had a couple of lucid dreams, but I can't control it and it happens very rarely.

You both have good points. Of course I wouldn't toss my rational thinking overboard. I have had more stressrelated dreams too, where my mind seems to have made up crazy solutions of dilemmas at work. But this one was more different.

Well, this may sound a little fuzzy but here we go.. Let's say you were considering your life and different deciscions. Then you suddenly had a dream where a stranger told you what you ought to do and in the dream you realised that it was the right descicion, even if it might not was what you wanted to do.

Would you pay any attention to the dream? Would you even consider that it could be some kind of higher consciousness speaking? (Given of course that the dream represented an option which made some sense to you awake too. Not that a stranger in a dream told you to sell your belongings and climb Mount everest  :)) Or would you dismiss the dream completly from your deciscionmaking?

This happened to me recently and I'm curios on how others would feel about it. Or maybe someone have experienced something similar?

« on: August 14, 2014, 05:18:54 AM »
I agree that the "hide the original"-idea would be very dishonest. But I don't see a problem with photos of ex-partners in general.

Many of us have had relationships which have lasted for years or even decades before we met our present partner. Our exes will appear in many pictures that are significant for our past. What are we supposed to do? Pretend like we never had a past and toss out our photo albumes completely in order to please our partners? Cut out the ex from the photos?

Though, I can understand that pictures of a snuggling couple or so could stir up emotions. I guess you'll have to handle it from a case to case-basis.

I have a few gifts from exes. Some from a relation that ended in good terms and the gifts are stuff I like and might have bought anyway so I see no reason not to keep them. I do have jewellry and plush animals from another ex stashed away in a black plastic bag for years, waiting to be tossed out. But that has more to do with how bad our relationship was.

A while ago I purchased a non pony related item from a seller in another European country. It never showed up. I mailed the seller asking about it and she said that she had sent it a long time ago and offered me to send another exemplar of the same item for no extra cost.

Now, I got the second item the seller mailed out. I have no reason to believe that the seller never sent the first item. All well. I just feel a bit bad for the seller and wonder what is the most polite and right thing to do according to Ebay's policy? Shall I just thank the seller and leave positive feedback or should I offer to pay at least for shipping on the second item? It is nothing too expencive, it is a hairband for like $7-8 or so.

Oh my! It seems like it was ran over by a truck or something. But I believe everything I sent is in the photos. I'm glad you liked it and that it made it to you in this condition!

Here is my box from Mirnyj.

First a picture of all the extra goodies.

A cute owl bag, soap bubbles, ice tea and cool ice cube molds. All you need for a great summer themed box. I really LOVED the earrings and the angry birds themed Uno game made me smile. I don't know if Uno is known outside Scandinavia. I played it as a child, but haven't played it in ages, so it will be fun to try it again.

And so the ponies:

Italy Posey! I don't know if I mentioned it, but I have a soft spot for Italian ponies, so it was a great surprise to get the Italy counter part of Posey.

And gorgeous Hula Hula and Sea Breeze. They are so Minty and lovely. :inlove:
