Hey gang, I recently acquired a Volk Century Model play doll and while I dig her body, her face up and the rooting of her hair leave a lot to be desired.

So, is anyone currently taking commissions?

Her current hair is black and has lovely bangs and the exterior circle of her head (like monk's fringe) in black; I'm open to ideas of rooting in a contrasting color or trying to match the black. But girl needs to be able to part her hair. And she desperately needs a face up. She has a teeny little head and is beyond my limited skill.

*gets out soapbox*

Ahem, maybe some of you are too young to remember how exciting it was to have ponies back on the shelves at all... But IT IS EXCITING. People always complain about the new toys (I've been guilty of it myself) but the truth is, it's so fun to see ponies of any type on shelves. I love being able to walk into a random store and see a pony. It makes my day. Even if it's not a pony I want to buy, it is still a pony. Do I wish that we got more variety in characters? Yes. But remember, when you see that 75,000th Rainbow Dash, that all too soon this fad will pass and the ponies will all be on clearance and then gone. Maybe the line will be reincarnated as something else, maybe not. Personally, I'm so grateful for the popularity of FiM. It means more toys and bronies mean more merchandise!!! So, quit whining. *Nothing* has been "ruined". Things change and evolve and we should be happy that My Little Pony is still an incarnation of toy 25 odd years later. It really is amazing when you stop to consider it.

I'd see if I could trade her for a really minty loose pony if that's what you really want. MOC's are rare, in any shape. I hang my MOC's on the wall and they look great!

All the time!  For instance, I do not actually own a Twilight Sparkle.

Pretty sure the middle pick is from a series called "quints" from the late 90's or early 00's.

Billy bookcases and one deeper one from Ikea. I can't remember the name of the deep one. They're working great.

She's adorable in person. I was on the fence but I'm so happy with her!
