I bought tickets for 3 shows the moment they were available!!! IMAX 3D, of course. I literally can't wait! I haven't been so excited since Jurassic World! The fiancee and I are huge movie fans, so this is a must for us!

Oh! Wow. I honestly hadn't expected to hear that this many people still use it! thanks so much :) So glad to hear it's still being used. I will definitely get it back online. I seem to be hitting a few bumps in the road with the move at the moment, but I will do my best to get it back up online tomorrow! I will also add a notification to the homepage about the current state of the site :)

Pony Corral / Should I keep Rainbow Forest online?

Hi all!

As you may or may not know, 13 years ago I created the site Rainbow Forest as an ID guide for gen2 ponies, which didn't exist yet back then. However, I haven't updated the site in ages; I simply don't have the time for it, and most of my ponies are in storage anyway. I attempted to update it twice, but I never got around to finishing it. By now, I am 100% sure I'll never get around to completely updating it on my own.

I am currently moving my websites to a different host (which is why it's currently offline), so I'm looking into everything that doesn't need moving to save myself some time. I was wondering if I should move Rainbow Forest, or just delete it? There's plenty of better gen2 guides out there these days :) Of course I can put a simple page in its place redirecting new visitors to some of these.

Thanks!

Anxiety and fear by Aien, on Flickr

I was feeling pretty anxious over the weekend, so I decided to just put it all in a photo. I love how versatile Pullips are that they can be both cute and sweet but also can be used for things like this!

I added a bunch of outfits and wigs!

Oh gee, I'm reading Aftermath right now. While I like the references and subtle plot hints for SW VII, it's really a very poorly written book. The writing style is awful. It literally goes like this:

Then: a noise.
And then: a flash of light.

I mean, that's how it is written. Literally. It's really quite painful to read at times and I'm having trouble focusing on the book. There's also loads of characters I can barely tell apart. I can't believe the editor allowed this to be published. It was such an anticipated book and the references and the plot has some nice points, especially when referencing the bigger picture of it all. But overall it's just not very good. :(

I am finishing it because I want to know as much as possible about the new post-episode VI setting. If it hadn't had that I would have returned it for sure.

I don't know anything about the other books. I am interested in that YA book Lost Stars and the reviews seem to be a lot better for that one over at Goodreads, so I'll give that one a shot later on. I think Lost Stars and Aftermath aren't related at all, so you can read them in whatever order you prefer. I don't know about the three adventure books :)
