Hi peeps, it's been forever! I spent January to April getting ready for the comic expo and it was a lot of work. I made some colouring pages from my pony drawings and sold half of them at the expo. A lot of people liked seeing G1 ponies and I even made a new friend that collected Breyers too I finally got around to making a full size colouring book and listed it on Etsy as a digital download. The ponies are "debadged" so you can colour then however you want. Here's a coupon code as a thank you: arena05. Click on over to Etsy https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/233655996/ponies-unicorns-pegasus-colouring-book and check it out

Uninu, exactly! Drawing ponies brings me a lot of joy right now and I look forward to making a new picture each weekend Post Merge: November 06, 2014, 05:45:34 AMI hope you start drawing ponies again Twisted River. I stopped too for years. There are some on my DA from 2003! Bubbles, thank you ![Smile :)](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/smile_001.gif) The backgrounds are a little hit or miss (like my PhotoShop rainbow ![Smiling :D](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/happy.gif) ) but the Moondancer one is the direction I would like to go in. I used something called PanPastels for it. They are a little expensive, but last a long time. They come in cases like make up and the applicator sponges are pretty much make up sponges. The colours can be mixed, but it's best to go from light to dark. They are a nice alternative to regular pastels. Post Merge: November 06, 2014, 06:19:40 AMThanks Ponyqueen! Butterscotch and Bluebell really inspired e wwith their colours. I have another sketch with all six that I hope to colour soon.

My husband wants me to draw something else, but why, I say, why!? :-) It seems I can bang out a picture a week, which is really making me happy. I'll just link to my latest one, Moondancer, and then you can check out Glory, Butterscotch, Bluebell and North Star. Who will be next? :-D

Thanks for the compliments guys! I'm already working on another pony picture that I hope turns out just as well.
Uninu, I'm not sure how long it took me come to think of it, but definitely a few hours. I blocked ina ll the main colours with markers, then went to town with pencil crayons on top :-)
I have two budgies and a cockatiel, hathorcat, so it was easy to put both together. I regret that there are not more parrots :-D
