Hello everyone.
My name i Helene and I'm from Denmark.
I've actually had an account in here before, but a few years ago I simply lost all inspiration to be creative. I don't even photograph anymore, so I've decided to sell my big camera and just keep the little one for when I'm going on shows with my cat.
I've been a rider for many years but a couple of years ago I had to say my final goodbye to him and send him over the rainbow. I continued riding for a year and then I put an end to that. It wasn't fun anymore. It was hard to be in the stables everyday looking at the empty box, not seeing him in the field or talking to him anymore.
A year after I got a cat. Smokey. I got him from a kennel called Inge's Kattehjem where his mother was left pregnant. I don't know his father but he has 2 brothers who doesn't look like him at all, but they were cute as well. But Smoke practically crawled out through the bars of his cage to get to me, so no doubt he was going home with me.
I wouldn't be without him, but I must admit I'm never getting a cat from a kennel again. Smoke is unfortunately a very traumatised cat: He doesn't like to drive, kids, the vet, men, strangers and he is one of the most difficult cats to feed cause his stomach is SO very sensitive. Even my friend - who is a veterinarian nurse - says he is the most dificult cat to feed on that she has ever met. And to top it off he has a heart conditon. Of course he's been scanned to see how bad it is with his heart, and the vet was not at all worried, så hopefully he'll be with me many years to come.
Now, my little star, pride and joy is my norwegian forest cat DK Thomanis Sheldon Lee Cooper
He is turning 10 months on saturday and will then be going in open class at the shows and can start going after certificates and the titles
He is fertile, and is scheduled til go on a date with a sweet little princess called DK Robdrup's Røskva this year.
He is of the classic type, which means that he is a little more compact compared to the more modern forest cat. He is the most gorgeous classic black blotched tabby with really vibrant colours and a good strong pattern and lots and lots of fur and the most bushy and long tail you could wish for!
In my eyes - of course - he is the perfect example of a "modern" classic forest cat.
I take him on shows about once a month and so far he is doing really great and Im so proud of my little boy and so is his breeder - who is also my friend. I'm her first buyer who also go on shows, så she is very happy and very eager for him to do well, and also he is the first sold kitten who has been kept fertile, so this is all just as ecxiting for her as it is for me! We mainly go on shows together, and I help her alot. It gives me an awful lot of experience and I also get to show some of her cats which is really great! In a months time I'll be going with her on a show - without my own boy - to show her latest litter: two tortie girls with a lot of silver and a red/silver boy with white as well, and I'm really looking forward to that.
I'd love to do trades of art, I mainly prefere to make the original ponies and my favorites are the G1-ponies.
My own top-favorite is G1 Raspberry Jam. I had her when I was little.
I draw in hand - not on he computer, and I prefere doing my drawings only i pencil, but I can also do them in colour-pencils and water-colours.
Now, that was a little bit about me, and to give it a nice ending I'll show you my two boys:
