That looks a lot like the clip I got with my childhood Dance 'n Prance pony DJ. My Little Wiki shows her with a green clip with pink hair, but mine came with one like the one in your photo.
This is interesting. Was she bought in the uk? Do you remember if any of the other accessories that came with her were different in any way?
She was bought for me as a present, back in 1990, and as far as I know the people who got her for me bought her from a local store here in the UK. I think all her other accessories were standard, like the ones in Taffeta's picture. At some point in the 90s I bought a Water Colour baby sea pony, either at a jumble sale or charity shop. I had no idea who she was and I was perplexed by her fine, cottony hair. As this was before the internet and other guides to MLP I assumed she was some kind of fakie, didn't really play with her, and for the longest time she was consigned to my parents' attic. Recently I FINALLY identified her from My Little Wiki, dug her out of the attic and brought her home with me. I had to try and undo the rather disastrous makeover that young me once decided to give her and at least now she'll get to live in peace with some of her friends instead of being stuck in a dark attic

I have her. I wanted her for ages, but had real trouble finding her until I got her from from a seller in Germany. I think she's really cute and I love how the colours in her mane go with her body colour.

Today I found myself having a conversation with Lily Lightly and explaining to her how I'm going to clean her up and style her mane and tail. I quite often talk to my ponies as I'm cleaning or rearranging them on the shelves, and sometimes I say hi to them when I come into the room and see them looking at me. Does anyone else do things like this, or have I been spending way too much time around ponies lately?

Thank you! The green one is a version of Gardenia Glow. She's greener than the one I had already and her hair is a deeper colour, without tinsel. Her colours are really stunning in person

I'm another who's never really taken to the Sweetheart Sisters. In theory I should love them, as they're elegant, come in lovely colours and have pretty symbols, but I never really clicked with them. I've been thinking that I should try and get at least one, though, because I might well like them in person!

I always look round the charity shops in my local area in London, but I've only ever found one pony locally - a beat up g2 Ivy. So this weekend I went to some shops on the other side of London and came home with four ponies, plus one more who was waiting in a parcel for me when I got home visitors can't see pics , please register or loginLily Lightly needs some cleaning up, but she still works! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThey're all in nice condition, Celestia in particular cleaned up really nicely!
