I'm a crazy fruit plate person. I love fruit themed kitchenware. My bowls look like watermelons, my plates look like lemon slices, I have an orange wedge half plate...My fancy dessert plates have apples on them. I don't know why I love that theme, but I get so excited when I find plates like these out in stores.

(Closest I could find to my lemon plates.)

They're test running that somewhere around here, too.  I hope to try it.  Glad to know it's decent.  :)

I went to the one location in Santa Clara that they're selling it. Line was super short, so that was nice. I forget where the other 3 SJ ones were. Hope you like it too if you get it! :)

More regional stuff, yay! They're taking a new crab sandwich for a test run over here in about 4 locations. Tried it today...wasn't bad at all! Pricey for McDonald's at $8(no combo) though. But hey, even if it was frozen at some point, the crab is real and they didn't try to put some tiny amount or anything. Good stuff. I hope they keep it around. Won't order it often because of the price, but I will sometimes.

If you do go for drawing on whichever you choose or just are using a stylus in general...don't forget to get a screen protector.

I dropped $400 on a surface pro 3, got an ASUS pen, drew for a little while...and it scratched my screen in multiple places within 2 days. :pout: I was less than happy. Even if it says "anti scratch rubber material" and whatnot...don't trust it like I did. Better safe than sorry if minor scratches bug you like they do with me lol.

I personally like the new reboot series(another in the group who won't be calling them 4.5) Less competition now. I get tired of never being able to find new releases because they're sold out.  :P Though I will forever be mad about how poorly designed the new gala outfits are. I just wanted gala outfits!  -_- But the pony mold themselves...I like. Aside from Cadance. Too balloon-y, even in person.

My sympathies to those who don't like them. But hey, more money to invest in other collections or in other ponies, right?

Woo! Good doll find today. Turns out Freya fits well into the new clothes for the Shibajuku Girls doll line. The top was a tiny bit big, but I prefer it to look a little baggy. Skin tight isn't what I was going for. I like the look. I hope my local Target starts stocking their stuff soon.

I love what you did with your Freyr, Saelave! His patterning is really cool!

All I got is a WIP of my Freya. Still haven't named the poor girl. Or got her a proper outfit. I bought her a bunch of lovely eyes from etsy, but sadly the Yo-SD outfit I got fit neither her or my Dollce girl. I have two odd sized girls.

I really gotta finish her wig at least. So much yarn to brush.

I think I only had one or two Care Bears growing up. I'm like 98% sure I had the 2002 Share Bear, the other may have been Cheer Bear or Love-a-lot Bear. I don't remember the one I had...but I always remember the ones I WANTED  I know I always wanted Good Luck Bear or Wish Bear. Or Bright Heart Raccoon. Honestly he's my favorite out of them all. Never did get to have one. >_< Still my fav though.

I found these today also.

Anyone know what kind of yarn the hair is made of on these? I make brushed yarn wigs occasionally, and seeing this just makes me want to give 'em the ol' wig treatment... :lookround:

I stop by Mcdonald's every couple weeks. I usually get a double hamburger with a coke. Or their Buttermilk Crispy Chicken burger. I like that one since it tastes more like a Wendy's chicken burger to me. The bun they use on that one is way better.

Out here, we have Gilroy Garlic Fries(Garlic is what we're known for) on the menu, so I've now switched to always getting those instead of the regular fries now. I love it when they skimp or forget the parmesean because I hate it, but I still somehow like these fries even when parm disgraces it for me.

Ugh. That's awful. I agree, I don't know how people just do that and even dare to feel like they're entitled to keep whatever extra they get because "Too bad, so sad" at the seller who made a mistake.

So there's no excuse to keep the item if the seller offered to pay for everything. I could see if the seller demanded they pay their own money to fix a mistake that wasn't theirs, but that's not the case here.

They didn't buy it, so it's not theirs. One would think it would be that simple. >_< Just because someone gave them merchandise by mistake doesn't mean they get a free item.

I'm sorry that happened to you. I hope you'll be able to find another pony for your set soon.  :(

The Dollhouse / Re: What kind of doll collector are you?
« on: January 06, 2017, 05:18:45 PM »
I'd say I mostly just collect whatever strikes my fancy at the time, but I'm mainly into anime styled dolls exclusively. Or ones that people would pass off as looking "too anime" for them even if they technically aren't lol. I also accidentally have a thing for dolls with blue eyes. Most of my dolls have them. Mainly because blue is my favorite color. I tend to put blue on everything...

I also only collect modern toys and dolls. Nostalgia has never really been a driving force for why I get anything. But I will agree that modern playline doll quality hasn't been the best lately, so I've been sticking to my vinyl BJDs in the past year. Since they're much more expensive, I prefer quality over quantity these days. I don't strive to have a wall of dolls or anything. I feel like I'd get overwhelmed with that many to maintain. Just a few is good with me. Or if I do get a lot, I want them to be over larger amounts of time.

Oooh! Nice haul on both accounts, SaelaVe!  Your Freyr somehow looks so tiny next to your MHs. I knew those ones were tall, but wow!
