Honestly I have had the wrong shipping quote on eBay and private sales both and in all circumstances I ate the loss. It sucks, but we are adults and need to take responsibility for our mistakes. It borders on a postage scam to hold part of the lot hostage and demand additional payment.
You are kinder than I am. I would of replied and simply said I expect the lot as promised in the auction and which I paid for in full already. I'd request proof of shipment within 5 days of the auction ending and let them know I will file a claim if I have no proof of shipping by that time. Period.
It sounds like you are dealing with a very immature person here.
I'm with Kasin, 100% Post Merge: March 13, 2017, 02:02:51 PMThank you so much for your replies, everyone. I really appreciate it!
No bad history in the ebay feedback, Artemesia Floc, which hopefully suggests that this isn't an ongoing scam?
Well.... I do have some good news - I just got a photo of the ponies that didn't make it into the parcel. Thankfully there is only one that I would have wanted for my collection which is not terribly rare or hard to get hold of. The seller at least seems to have had the sense to not send the two large fakies and the ponies in bad condition (a browned Cherry Treats, a SH Sister with foot chewed off). These ponies were the only ones that appeared in bad condition in the lot... so I am very grateful for that!!
So now... provided that they have truly sent the others (and I have seen a receipt for the amount specified), I am tempted to not aggravate the situation and just not worry about the five (average/damaged condition) G1s or even opening a case. I could take things further if open opening my parcel I find something different.
What do you think?
You know what? I think I would just settle... tell them ty for the business *and the trouble* and close the thing friendly- like. Wtv, if its a pony you can find quite easily it okei imho. Prbb got already a good deal w the other ponies... So If i were you i wouldnt mess w them no longer just for those. Just my 2 cents Post Merge: March 13, 2017, 02:15:11 PMAnd please UPDATE USSSS whenever there are news We are all suffering with you *at least I am.. imagining myself on your shoes* **oh and sry for all my posts..I was reading allong and got excited

Sorry for the worryingz..but, don't be it's just I'm a bit of a ''research for the best of bestest solution'' and a perfeccionist *on some subjects* so... I have read a lot of people use the glossy mod podge for glitter finnishes..and for that purpose I have never heard of any other method, for sealing the glitter that is... Cuz any other way they go everywhere.. And yeah, Testors will Dull the glitter's shine *ba dum tss* If you haven't had problems yet I guess you're clear . A lot of ppl here use mod podge and swear by it.. I guess its a hit or miss... Mod Podge is the ultimate mystery ...

Well guys... I think I have made a decision *wow..that's a new thing with me * I will be leaving my ponies as is... no sealent at all (appart from the one I used blablabla, that was awfull..sticky yatta yatta) It seems that the best way to protect them through time is actualy to not protect them at all, I think So I just wont bother about it anymore.. no big dreams of getting Testors or trying my hand at my new ModPodge (I'm sure I'll give it some other use ) they'll just be on display so no big scratch risk.. Seems like ponies are so hard to seal perfectly because of their plastic So..yeah not gonna seal anythang Thank you to everyone who contributed with their valuable knowlegde from your thankfull newb

Hey I am going through a rough time myself.. and sometimes what my mum tells me to bring me back to earth is that everyone is going through something; they are not always perfect or right *like I asume*; that we are all on the same boat and, that somehow makes me see things differently and be more open.. I don't know if it's helpfull for you *anxiety here*, but I'm leaving you with understanding, hugs and kisses, from someone who kinda sorta gets it. SO! We can do it!!!! It wont be always bad, and we are not alone people are there and care Love and kisses TugaLis Post Merge: February 22, 2017, 12:40:41 PMI like the art of thelatestkate! Yeah.. the sealer I used previously did do that I know that sealing isn't imperative... but I would like to give them that extra protection :/ so they can suvive through time. But in my case I think it is needed because they are already sticky *read original* Really dont know what to do

Thanks for the replies I think i I guess I'll just pony up and give it a try on my own The issue wit honline ordering is that the shipping cost is very very high :c I guess I'll give mod podge a go, and if it does go bad I supposed *if* I then apply Testors it fixes the mess? .-. I hope Post Merge: February 20, 2017, 11:38:27 AMOne question tho: does it ruin paintbrushes should I use my regular painting brushes? I one bad one...but I'm affraid it will leave paintbrush marks

Hello pony friends I was able to get my hands on some Mod Podge matte (a bit hard where I live) I was considering purchasing some Testors Dullcote, from what I read it would be the perfect alternative to seal ponies, and have them great through time; but to get it here it would all cost 37 USD and I am not even sure if that product can cross the border here .-. honest newb I have a bit of a dillema tho... I bought Mod Podge but I am aware of all of the horror stories about the yellowing, the stickyness, and the melting. And my ponies are allready sticky on their cutie marks and eyes; a dust magnet and mane and tails get sticky there too; because some years ago I bought a glossy sealent, god knows what brand it was, and it was AWFULL. And now I am a bit scared... should I risk using Mod Podge? I think I might as well. I really don't know what to do at this point. I know I am supposed to use very light coats, and water it down to a milk like consistency..but I admit I am very affraid of screwing things up.. -What is milk like consistency...like 3 parts water, 2 parts glue? I know this is very silly, but please help?

Thank you for replying I used tape on the roots and tin foil on the bulk of it, and it has been working out great! No glue residue either

Hello cuties I have a question and have been trying to find a solution but nothing seems to work right! So, the thing is: I need to protect a pony's hair that I have re-rooted previously because I will be repainting her. And I wanted to protect it 100%, fullproof xD Also I will be sealing all of my other customs I made some time ago, after I can get my hands on some Testors Dullcote spray ^^
