yes, she's really coming along nicely.  Her tail was an unholy mess and so was her mane, but the tail took me a day to work out the knots.  just deciding on the hair straightener route.

Oh gosh, I must have missed it then!  I feel silly  :( But thank you for telling me that it IS there.

I am cleaning her eyes now, it's just very hard to get around them because the white stuff is "inside" the eye too...around the sides and such.  But her body came out fine.  Most of her marks were superficial and wiped off!  :biggrin:

Thanks!  Good to know it's fairly common.  I don't really want to take her apart if I don't have to.  I had just worried about all that gunk being inside.

...On the inside!

I scored a My Pretty Pony today and she has some white stuff crusted to her eye lids and also inside the iris of her eye.  I want to see about taking her apart to clean her all up, but my google searches suck, because I can't find anything.

Anyone have any good resources?  I looked at MLP preservation project but didn't see anything for My Pretty Pony specifically.

It doesn't have to be in pristine condition or even have all it's accessories (the helmet would be a nice touch though).  I'm buying it as a gift for my son's godfather who has pretty much helped me get half of my pony collection, so I want it to be semi-giftable.  I don't mind cleaning and fixing up the hair and such.   I don't have a lot to spend.  Maybe in the $4-7 range plus minimal shipping.

I actually googled and found the doll.  Very interesting.  I don't remember them at all.

Hi!

I recently got a CF cotton candy and she came with an interesting ribbon.  It's a light purple ribbon that is typical of her accessories but has a sparkly blue/green flower sewn on.  I can't find anything on it.  Is it even MLP?  Thanks for any help you can give! (it looks light pink in the picture but the lighting is bright. It is light purple)

I was staying in Moncton this past week and I went to value village twice. First time I picked up a G2 magic motion light heart, G3 baby butter crisp (I think), G3 breezie, and another G3.

I then went again a few days later and scored a Baby wooly the lamb AND SS Magic Star!

THEN my sons godfather messaged me and told me he found some at His thrift shop!  He found powder, newborn sticky, TAF Sundance, beddy bye eye Baby Ribbon and freakin SPUNKY the CAMEL!!

I'll have pics when I'm home from vacation but I just wanted to share my luck. I am so lucky to have people looking for me and also to have found te ones i Did while on vacation :)
