Pony Corral / Re: Pony collecting problems?
« on: October 29, 2013, 01:00:35 AM »
My parents know me and support my MLP habit but my in laws think its a waste... Whatever I really don't care. My father in law collect junk ( literally) and my mother in law collects antiques so I really don't see a difference.

$15,000 USD. It was for a bait condition Buzzer. It was just a normal u.s/ u.k version, it wasn't even a nirvana. The description was literally a story of the pony being divorced and abused. Not just by a child, but by her " ex- husband" and how he beat her with a hammer. It also says that she had children and that they were puppies. I was just sitting there thinking, is this guy serious?

It was Flurry *I think*

Here's a link to the auction-

I have to wear socks year round with my uniform. But at home I mostly wear them in the winter, either ankle socks or knee highs most of my socks are plain white but I love colorful socks I just have a hard time finding colorful socks that are warm lol

I had to take very good care of mine. My parents threatened to never buy me any more if I lost the dolls lol I didn't want to test that theory lol

Um...what kind of question/poll is this when you're clearly very biased against earth ponies (really...earth ponies are terrible? Wut?)? I would never want to give up one of the main three type of ponies, they're all classic and compliment each other. If we were to get more boy ponies I would hope they would be of all three species, since they only tend to be earth, which is nice, but I would love a boy unicorn. If you had added alicorns I would have chosen them since they really don't do a lot for me. I have one alicorn in my entire collection, Luna, and I don't see myself loving any other alicorn enough to spend the money on one.

Um. . . what kind of response is this when you are very clearly biased against the initial pole? I have obviously left you the ability to vote for whatever you want, except alicorns.

As to not including alicorns--the real reason that I am not including them is, of course, because they aren't classic fare, and I think a lot of people would choose them just because they don't hold as much sentimental value. I want to know people's opinions in regard to the main three--dirty, wingy, and horny.

Anyway, I was afraid a lot of people would vote to keep all three, rather than trade one for another. What I didn't foresee was so many votes for unicorns! So come on, people! Vote! And vote for he earth ponies! They are not special. Also, all the jealousy they feel toward all the interesting species has soured their hearts and filled them with hate. They are basically criminals. Is that what you want in your house? Evil, hateful, criminal earth ponies? I know I don't!

So, I guess that's supposed to be funny? I don't see it.

I don't see that as funny either.

The Dollhouse / Re: Small Doll Rant

Ah yes...  but parents also get irritated that kids rip the clothing off their dolls and play with them naked.  :)  Then they've lost the dress too.  *shrug*  I don't understand it, but that's the attitude I have heard from other parents.

This is true I have a 3 and 7 year old and all my 3 year olds dolls are naked and my 7 year old had a really hard time getting the cloths back on and mommy and daddy end up doing it... It gets extremely frustrating. Kids now days just don't want to put in the work to do it themselves so molded cloths sometimes save the headache for the parents. That said I don't really like molded clothes but it saves the dolls from the trash when my hubby gets sick of naked dolls. I really think they do it just because parents are sick of dressing, redressing, redressing, redressing oh and redressing the dolls. Cinderellas skirt? Dress thing was on the floor, puppy got it chewed it up, now we have nothing for Cinderella to ware BUT she had a perma top/swimsuit thing so it's still ok :) I really think its just something for kids/parent sanity. Otherwise I'd be buying clothes everyday for the dolls so my daughter would stop complaining all her dolls are naked lol

My 2 cents take it or leave it. My girls are not the best with dolls.

I love black cats! I used to have one but he got out while I was away at training and a year and a half later I found him living up the street with a new family. He seemed happy so I let him be, I miss him but he's healthy and happy so I had to let him go.
