So I have been dreaming of a pony room for a long time...My husband had indulged me and allowed me to fill our bedroom with ponies as well as let me fill 3 curios in our living room full of G1s. (He is wonderful and obviously not worried about his manhood..lol!)
However we were running out of room and the collection was getting rather disorganized. Well one of the bedrooms in our 3 bedroom house became available when our son moved away to college. Now don't worry, we made a combined bedroom for him and his brother to stay in with cool loft beds and updates to make them happy since he will still be around during breaks and such. ANYWAY, that left the one bedroom free for...you guessed it ... a PONY ROOM! Now ALL my pony stuff is in one place and Organized! No more in the bedroom or living room! I love it so much! And we left a futon so any guests including pony collector guests can stay the night if they wish!
Images I am posting include the G3 section, G1s in the Ikea glass cabinets that were moded to included more shelves, and the G4 section that still has room to grow as well as what Hubby calls the throne which is my vintage pink chair that I bought specifically for the pony room. You will also see my prize Jumbo plush Frilly and Minty
Oh and what I call Cabbage Patch corner because I just couldn't leave my childhood babies in totes when I actually had room for them!
