I try to get all G1/G2 ponies unless they are ridiculously expensive/baity. I also look for non-repeat ok condition G3/G4 ponies that I don't have. G3.5 ponies can just stay there unless they are really cheap though... they just have not grown on me yet! lol

would a small amount of bleach perhaps whiten the discoloration? or would it ruin her further? i guess i could just leave her mane over it since she has no hair cut

Yesterday, my little sister and my mom went to a garage sale, i guess my sister saw some ponies and just had to get them for me cause's she's pretty great like that sometimes.  I also found quite a few at the thrift store. Especially Mcdonalds ones, but a Scootaloo and some baby (?) G3, too. I also bought Diamond Rose at walmart as I have had my eye on her. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThe G3.5s were still in their bags but I took them out since I have no self-control. Plus I have an extra Scootaloo one in it's bag. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginCan I get ID on the ones that I put a red dot by? Also I think the one rearing up needs a stand or something. And I know the weird purple one is a fakie, but what kind? visitors can't see pics , please register or loginalso poor Mistletoe has "roadrash." unu it looks like the kid who had her dragged one side of her on the road which is rather unfortunate as the rest of her looks rather nice.  Is there a way to at least remove the discoloring?

I don't really see the big deal about Hasbro using brony-made names. -shrug- Then again I also like that certain grey pegasus's meme-based-name so I dunno... I certainly prefer the sound of "Vinyl Scratch" rather than "DJ PON-3." Sounds more pony-ish. And it's not like brony favorites are the only ponies being made, it's just a small portion out of all the non mane 6 ponies so it is fine with me. c:

Bowtie is always pretty, though the lighting makes her look like some sort of nirvana. Can't tell how far Majesty's hair comes up to her horn. Did you know there are multiple versions of her? And do you know about sunfading ink spots?
Yeah, the lighting is pretty bad for showing their actual colors. I should have taken their pics outside or something. Also I was not sure what you meant about Majesty's hair so I just took a front pic of her if that helps? visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI didn't realize their were multiple versions of Majesty, actually. I googled her and apparently she is supposed to have purple eyes, not light blue? They may have faded before I got her though, I dunno. And about sunfading, I have heard of it, but i'd be afraid to mess it up! I'd prefer to practice on a baitier pony first, when I get ahold of one. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginPlus it's really close to her symbol which kinda discourages me from trying to sunfade it...

Plus Bowtie has a really nice pink mane and tail! Bowtie also has a little inkspot on her butt but that's okay cause the rest of her is so nice. The battery is there because Majesty has a hard time staying up, she seems ok for now without it though. c:

If a MIB pony came my way, I'd have to sell/trade it away. Otherwise I would end up opening it! Something about being the first to open it and touch the pony is just really appealing to me. But then I would feel bad (especially if it's an older pony) since there are not that many MIB G1s anymore... The only reason I haven't opened my packaged G4 Dash is cause she's a double. :B

I'd have to say my favorite out of my ponies is my G1 Firefly, who is a replacement for a childhood pony. If for some reason, you want to see one of them close-up, then I can arrange that. :3

So yes, hello. My name is Kayla, I'm 17 and I just recently got into collecting ponies. My current collection is mainly G4 with a few others, however I am becoming more and more interested in the older generations! I suppose it's pretty much obvious that the Friendship is Magic is what brought me to start collecting ponies, but this isn't the first time I have partook in this hobby! As a younger child, I used to have a large plastic container if g1/g2 ponies, however they were given away, most likely to a daycare. I am not at my house, so I can't take a good picture of my collection, but within the next few days I will be able to introduce them. c:
